Strategic HSE Leadership & Compliance
− Spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate-wide HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulatory requirements.
− Act as an HSE advisor to senior management, providing strategic recommendations to align HSE objectives with business goals, operational efficiency, and profitability.
− Lead corporate risk governance by conducting high-level Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard Identification (HAZID), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) for projects and subsidiaries.

Project HSE Oversight & Due Diligence
− Oversee HSE deliverables during tendering, pre-construction, and execution phases, ensuring compliance with client requirements, international standards (ISO 45001), and best practices.
− Direct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across multiple project sites and subsidiaries in the Middle East Gulf region, ensuring adherence to corporate HSE standards.
− Lead incident investigations (LTI, FAT, Near Miss, Environmental Spills) using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate recurrence.

HSE Management Systems & Performance Monitoring
− Drive ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) by managing internal audits, management reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
− Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for HSE performance, including LTIFR, TRIR, Environmental Compliance, and Near-Miss Reporting trends.
− Prepare executive-level reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) on HSE performance, emerging risks, and strategic recommendations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership.

Training, Culture & Stakeholder Engagement
− Design and implement corporate HSE training programs foster a proactive safety culture.
− Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and regulatory meetings to stay ahead of emerging HSE trends and legislative changes.
− Collaborate with contractors, clients, and government agencies to ensure alignment with international HSE standards.

Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives
− Develop and enforce Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) to ensure compliance with Client requirements and other regional environmental regulations.
− Lead sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and energy efficiency programs in line with global ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards.

Crisis & Emergency Preparedness
− Establish corporate emergency response protocols and conduct large-scale drills (fire, spill, evacuation, crisis management) to ensure readiness across all sites.
− Serve as an advisor for business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.

• Environmental Management:- Oversee establishment, certification and maintenance of the system and the required documents as per Environmental Management system and ensuring the legal and legislative compliance & documentation and updating the same according to Hazards & Risk assessment. Implement waste management system and reduction measures. Develop and ensure adherence to operational safety standards.
• Health & Safety Management, Fire Protection/Prevention:- Develop Health and safety Management plan and oversee implementation of the same. Conduct safety inspections/audits, occupational health surveys and surveillance and field auditing for compliance. Revise and implement Emergency Response Plan. Inspection & approval of new equipment at site as per the project requirement. Conduct investigation of all accidents/ Occupational health issues and suggest recommendations. Co-ordinate and advice on the fire fighting facilities/equipment management. Schedule/plan, functional testing, periodical maintenance and review of fire protection and safety facilities with respect to applicable standards, etc., Conduct audits to ensure the fire prevention measures are in place and to identify the areas for improvement.
• Project Management: - Develop and implement contractor safety management guidelines, project management plans and training plans for all the new contractors. Conduct inspection and audits to ensure compliance. Implement Contractor rating system to assess the contractors HSE performance in different projects. Execute conduct Safety Audits and Coordinate during External Safety Audits. Preparation of implementation status reports of Safety Audits.
• Documentation: - Compilation, collation and prepare status of Safety Audits recommendations and submission. Make documents of fire protection systems testing and inspection. Manage process hazards analysis documents for re-validation. Prepare and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Safety, ERP, Fire manuals etc.

Nature of Work -
• Responsible for the co-ordination of day to day operations of project sites in North India.
• Responsible for the collection and verification of service and technical jobs carried out in sites.
• Responsible for the implementation and assurance of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and regulations in depot and North Indian sites of Aggreko.
• Conducting Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment, Near Miss and Incident Reporting.
• Co-ordination of HSE administration in Aggreko’s North Indian sites.
