DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Over all in-charge in a kiosk location of a coffee shop
- Pre-opening duties includes
o Getting from the main kitchen of the requested sandwiches, pastries and cakes for sale on the day and milks for coffees.
o Switching on all lights and chillers.
o Opening the espresso machine for pre-heating.
o Wiping with sanitizer all the surfaces area of bar including the microwave oven.
o Wiping with sanitizer all the tables and chairs.
o Refilling of display drinks in the chiller.
o Displaying of the dry items for sale like chocolates, chips, cereal bars, and sandwiches, pastries, cakes, fruits and vegetables salads.
o Opening the cash register.
o Counting the stocks for inventory purposes.
- Opening duties includes
o Making coffees from espresso machine and steeping teas depends on the customer's needs.
o Heating the sandwiches from microwave oven depends on the customer's wants.
o Attending to other special request of customers depends on the availability of the items and my knowledge on drinks.
o Cash handling payment.
o Bussing out soiled cups and plates for dine-in customers.
o Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area and bar.
o Logging of temperatures of the chillers.
- Closing duties includes
o Cleaning the location includes wiping the tables, the bar area, dusting the floor and mopping the floor.
o Emptying the trash bin and changing the garbage bag.
o Cleaning the espresso machine and turning it off.
o Keeping in the storage for display dry items.
o Logging of unsold sandwiches, pastries, cakes and salads.
o Counting of the stocks for inventory.
o Closing the cash register and making a daily sales report.
o Requisition of items for the next day.
o Submission of the daily sales report and requisition to the storekeeper.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-opening duties includes
o Opening the espresso machine.
o Displaying the food items: cakes in chiller and pastries in display cabinet.
o Refilling the coffee beans, syrups, flavored powders, sugars.
o Refilling the condiments area of stirrer, sugars, and removing the old newspapers with new ones.
o Opening the umbrella and putting down the chairs from tables outside the store.
o Briefing of the supervisor of the task designated during shift (either be the cashier or barista), unavailability of some items and marketing of new ones and items need to push.
If as a cashier, input the personal password in the point of sales machine for registration and count the petty cash with the supervisor as a witness.
- Opening duties includes
- As a cashier
o Greet the customers and take their orders.
o Upsell, Upsize, suggest items.
o Do the cash handling procedures or credit card procedures.
o Thank the customers.
- As a barista
o If designated in the bar where the espresso machine is for the hot drinks or in the area where the blender and ice machine is for cold drinks.
o Make drinks according to the standards and procedures of the company.
o Greet the customers.
o Checking of the dining area if there are table needs to bus out and cleaning the tables for next user.
o Refilling and cleaning of the condiments area.
o Logging of shots, temperature of the chillers.
o Stockings of the requested items in their proper storage.
o Counting of the stocks for inventory every Sunday and the last day of the month.
- Closing duties includes
o As a Cashier, making the daily sales report.
o Cleaning of the utensils used during operations.
o Cleaning and closing of the espresso machine.
o Cleaning of the dining area
o Dusting and mopping of the floors.
o Closing the umbrella and piling up the chairs outside dining area.
o Emptying the trash bin.
o Switching of all light, machines, chillers.
