APCC is one of the top geotechnical and foundations specialized contractor in the Middle East.
APCC involves following fields: ENABLING WORKS (design and construction of all kind of Shoring, Piling works. such as Diaphragm wall, Secant pile walls, Contiguous pile walls, Sheet pile walls, Pile foundations, Stone Columns & Vibro compaction works). MARINE WORKS (Jetty, Wharf, Cofferdams, Quay Wall, Floating Pontoons, Tubular Piles, etc.)
• Responsible for all aspects of the drawings and related documentations.
• Assists in preparation of design quantities, estimates, grades, elevations, maps, drawings, profiles, cross-sections, details and other design elements as needed.
• Provide first level technical advice to Project Manager/Engineer and CAD teams within the company.
• Coordinating of overall development of CAD standards, workflows, specifications, data requirements, etc.
• Preparation of bar bending schedule and develop the structural detailed drawings.
• Assist the drafting team on developing their activities and provide technical assistance to solve the possible discrepancies, increase the efficiency of lisp programs, etc.
• Initiates site queries, design proposals, clarification letters, inter department/interoffice correspondence, estimates and other engineering matters required by operations group and other construction support groups.
• Fully responsible for CAD works including file management, squad check, Document control, and complying with the company’s QA/QC procedures for all drafting related tasks.
Al-Ghurair Construction-Foundations LLC. (AGCF) is a specialized in geotechnical and special foundation works, AGCF involves construction of Pile Foundations, Diaphragm walls, Secant pile walls, Contiguous pile walls, Flexible Sheet pile wall, Soldier piles, Installation of Ground Anchors and ground improvement works.
SUMMARY OF PROJECT EXECUTED:-
While working with AGCF, I have completed more than 50 projects in different countries’ including some of the most prestigious projects like:-
Dubai Metro, Mono Rail Transit system, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Marina Apartments, Gate Tower, Tameer Towers, Adnoc Headquarters, Adic Capital Tower, Chennai Metro, Lusail Transit System, Hilal Bank Tower, Nakheel Mall, Haramain High Speed Rail, P17 Tower, Marsa Al Seef Ph.4, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
• Preparing all kind of drawings and coordinating with design engineers for the required details regarding the design and execution purpose for our projects in different countries (UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia & India)
• Assists in preparation of design quantities, estimates, grades, elevations, maps, drawings, profiles, cross-sections, details and other design elements as needed.
• Gathers all necessary information to develop final design.
• Checking and verifying design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.
• Check and review cad designer’s drawings and also the subcontractors shop drawings before issuing for consultant approval.
• Coordinate with Quantity surveyors and Material Engineer to raise the material requirements & quantities
• Providing technical assistance to other draughtsman’s in the department to improve their drafting skills.
• Ensures that all drafting works will be done in accordance with all the contract documents, and all applicable standards.
• Coordinate with surveyors.
• Develop all needed shop drawings in coordination with supplier and clients requirements.
• Conduct field investigations, tale measurements, prepared detailed sketches and written notes, in preparation to produce the required detailed design drawings.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager which include but not limited to the above mentioned duties
