• Manage/maintain stock policies & raw material inventory to meet delivery targets.
• prepare master production schedules, production work orders, and manage finished goods inventory levels for a network of global manufacturing sites and distribution centers.
• be the single point of contact regarding the scheduling, status, priority, and execution of flow of finished goods from manufacturing network to distribution centers to customer sites.
• assess capacity loads, bottlenecks, and material availability, to both advise management of supply chain constraints, and develop appropriate capabilities or recovery plans to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
• manage and maintain stocking policies and finished goods inventory levels to meet business targets for inventory and service delivery, utilizing standardized, global methodologies.
• document, recommend, and implement key process changes to improve overall production planning, production control, and supply chain performance.

• Prepare complex materials analysis, incl; integrating supply/demand views, customer forecasts, inventory positions, rates of new product launches, end of components life cycle & changes in supplier capabilities.
• Document key material planning processes, recommend improvements & implement those enhancements.
• Partner with purchasing for a lean, effective & compliant process for planning & purchasing of company’s raw material & component needs.
• Work closely with Production Control, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering & Sales to plan the quantity of raw materials & components to meet both service delivery & inventory targets.
• Implement & improve planning processes like pull replenishment, forecast drivers & plan for quantity & schedule of material req’d.
• Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM’s) to ensure material availability on design changes & manage phase in/out of materials to minimize risk of obsolete stock.
• Recommend changes to key material planning parameters like safety stock, replenishment cycle, & planning process workflows.
• Develop a component demand supply plan incl: supply-demand balancing, supply availability, allocations, delivery perf, flexibility reqs.
• Process purchase reqs for raw materials from approved suppliers. Communicate raw material delivery schedules & expedite required materials.
• Generate consumption vs. planned, ordered reports, inventory balances, target & process cycle time performance measures for mgmt review.
• Follow up on outstanding open orders not meeting targeted material supply plans.
• Perform data maintenance and updates in MAPICS ERP system.
• Determine root causes for part shortages & implement permanent corrective action
