Product Portfolio ( Flowserve, Grundfos & SPP ) Jan 2001 - Present Professional Responsibilities
•Concentrating on projects pertaining to Oil and Gas, Desalination Industries Power Generation and Water Transmission, by efficiently creating leads on the sales of the pump systems.
•Conducting the market study for information on the upcoming projects to effectively handle the Pump Systems Department.
•Maintaining contacts with the contractors who are executing the projects concerned with related sector
•Approach the various contractors with project centric approach to generate the related RFQ
•Secure MR documents and analyze in detail for understanding the design requirement
•Coordinate with the customers' site engineers and consultants in reviewing the technical requirements and working for optimizing the pumping solutions for the application.
•Selecting the right manufacturer based on the customers RVL or proposing an alternate manufacturer.
•Summarizing the bid documents considering the technical as well as non-technical aspects of the project.
•Ensuring the product engineering and selection is done in line with the project specifications and the applicable standards like ASME, ISO, API or SAES, SAMSS etc.
•Engaging the factory's technical support & commercial team to come up with the best possible solutions for the project.
•Populating the TBE with precise details to enable smooth review of the proposal
•Holding meetings with client designers and consultants to resolve issues faced with regards to the design of the system.
•Involving the company's finance department to analyze commercial issues like profitability, payment terms, LC establishment and other financial aspects of the order before signing the contract.
•Supervising submittals to the consultants and obtaining timely approvals
•Detailed & Seamless transmission of manufacturing instructions to the production facilities to achieve total technical compliance.
•Ensuring that the finished equipment and the sub-components for the pump system are being resourced for approved vendors based on the RVL's received from clients.
•Monitoring the progress of manufacturing in sync with the project schedule and taking key decisions oriented towards the goal of project completion.
•Liaising with the logistics team to expedite the shipments and ensuring no delays occur in the shipping or customs clearance.
•Monitoring the fabrication & machining processes in the workshop and the supervising the assembly of pump systems.
•Physically attending the Third Party Inspection ( TPI ) to avoid any chances of an NCR at site.
•Overseeing the delivery of pump systems to make sure the material is safely delivered to the site along with all the required technical & commercial documentation.
•Extending technical support to the customers in solving their problems related to pumps installation and commissioning issues faced at the site.
•Ensuring Material & Non-Material compliances to Standards & Specifications of clients like ARAMCO, SEC, SWCC and others.
•Following up with the client for timely payments after having successfully achieved comprehensive contractual obligation.
