• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
• Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
• Assist with on boarding of new users
• Setup and test desktop computer and printers
• Install Operating System application software (Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2012)
• Install and test application software
• Ensure PCs and printers are communicating on the LAN and to the internet
• Maintain projectors and Interactive Whiteboards (SMARTBOARDS)
• Maintain inventory of all classroom technology items, printer toners and consumables
• Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
• Operating system upgrades and installations
• Managing the IT HELPDESK portal as a way for users to inform the IT Department of any issues
• Provide on-call support after hours and on weekends as necessary. If mandatory be on site to provide necessary support based on business needs
• Assist to identify, plan and procure IT assets and consumables
• Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support
• Provides first line investigation and diagnosis and promptly allocates unresolved issues as appropriate
• Contributes to creation of support documentation
• Logs incidents and service requests and maintains relevant records
• Produces routine reports to assist asset management activities and decision making
• Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate
