•Financial Planning (How to raise Finance, Where to invest Finance and Risk Management), Budgetary Control, Budget Freeze and Re-appropriation of Budget.
•Prepare Budget and get it approved through Finance & Planning committee, Executive committee and Board of Governance respectively.
•Prepare Financial Report i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Statement and Monthly Audit Report.
•Conduct Daily Based Internal Audit regarding Revenue & Capital Expenditures, which includes 48 Head of Accounts as per approved in Executive Committee Meeting (ECM) for every Financial Year.
•Mitigate risk through different Risk Management strategies.
•Conduct Audit for Insured Items.
•Conduct Monthly Based Audit which includes payments made under different head of account and Bank Reconciliation Statements accordingly.
•Conduct Quarterly Audit which includes Ratification of the Campuses only (Foundation University Rawalpindi Campus FURC & Foundation University Islamabad Campus FUIC).
•Conduct Audit with regards to post-employment benefits as per IAS-19 i.e. Provident Fund Account, Employees Old Age Benefits, Earned Leaves encashment and recovery of loans accordingly.
•Policy formulation and ensure its proper implementation.
•Conduct performance Audit regarding appointment of faculty members and their eligibility criteria according to HEC and their compliance.
•Conduct Audit of Funds allocated to Scholarships from different donations which is awarded to students who have secured top position in the current semester and in case of Financial Assistance to needy students under Financial Assistance Program (FAP).
•Investigates the reimbursement cases pertaining to Medical, Publication fee and Reward for Publication in impact Factor and HEC recognized Journal.
•Conduct Audit for different development projects & contracts between Employer and vendors, these contracts includes;-
•Corporate Reporting and further processing for approval.
•Construction of FUI Secretariat by M/s Perk Engineers.
•Construction of Academic Block for Foundation University institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (FUIRS) by M/s Sharif International.
•Civil & Electric work for Establishment of IT Lab of Foundation University Rawalpindi campus (FURC) by M/s Farhan Traders.
•Renovation & Construction for Up-Gradation of Existing cafeteria at FURC by M/s Suleman.
•Electrification &Installation of ACs work at Foundation University Rawalpindi Campus (FURC) by M/s Mosum Engineers.
