(CATIA V5) An automotive engine cradle supports many crucial components and Systems, such as Steering gear, Anti-roll Bars, Engine, Transmission and Suspension. Important performance measures for the design of engine cradle include Stiffness, Natural Frequency and Durability. While minimizing weight is of primary concern. So, this project involves an effective methodology for engine cradle design from conceptual design to detailed design using design optimization.
