1- To examine and manage new and follow up patients at outpatient adult psychiatry clinic.
2- Examination, management, and follow up of patients of child psychiatry clinic, including, ADHD, Autistic spectrum disorders, intellectual subnormality, Anxiety, Mood disorders, Conduct disorder, adolescence turmoil, and psychotic disorders of children and adolescents.
3- Consultation liaison at different departments of the hospital including emergency psychiatry.
4- Assistance in teaching and training of psychiatry residents, psychologist trainees, and interns.
5- Follow up and management of inpatients of psychiatry department.
This was a part of the service under authorization of the ministry of health and population, and my job was to cover emergency services and assistance with consultants at outpatient clinics.
The job was to folow up and assist in management of cases of substance abuse and its related psychiatric consequences in inpatient department, as well as being a part of the team of rehabilitation program.
