• Accountable for safety for each employee of my department. Ensure participation of team members in safety initiatives like PEP talks, hazard identifications and elimination, preparation of Operational Control procedures (OCP) and Hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA). Implementation of Behaviour based safety (BBS) to improve safe working culture of employees and their peer's working behaviour.
• In charge for Quality norms based on drawings and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). Guiding team to build a habit for, "first time right quality every time". Identifying need of mock-ups to enable enough practice to operators before every new process deployed. Preparation of Corrective action and Preventive action (CAPA) for every rework.
• Working on INFOR LN on Manufacturing, Design and Sales modules.
o Manufacturing Modules:
• Monitoring the manhours booked vs the budgeted hours for projects/components.
• Closing of tasks after completion.
• Production hours planning. o Design Module
• Planning of routings and tasks in job cards.
• Bill of Material planning for jigs and fixtures. o Sales Modules
• Interplant billing for job work within Godrej & Boyce's
• Also, responsible for preparing of production plans based on set targets, communicate timelines with all stake holders and seek agreement. Regular monitoring of plans and give feedback in case of delays to team members & superiors.
• Responsible for Identifying and Implementing strategies to ensure smooth working of productions tasks. Seamless flow of jobs across departments to ensure targets are met. Regular monitoring of set systems, if needed modify to further streamline productions tasks.
• Taking care of maintenance of assets for the department, ensure good spare management. o Keeping an eye on the production hours booked based on estimated hours. Give feedback to estimation department on processes where production hours booked are over or under booked, which will enable them to estimate better in future orders.

• Answerable for data collection during project execution. Document learnings of new processes developed through Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) and uploading on portals. This ensures readily available education for future references or for new recruit's knowledge enhancement.
• Working on Infor (ERP) to monitor man days, indirect costs, route cards and system implementation.
• Managing costs of department within estimated budgets. o Leading initiatives like Kaizens & TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) which further reduce costs and improve employee morale.
• Nurturing Innovation in the department. Open to out of the box suggestions. Presenting new methods to superiors/customers and seek approval for implementation.
• Developing subordinates to help them grow as successful Engineers. Identifying training needs based on knowledge gaps. o Communicating feedback on improvement areas and recognition/appreciation of staf in forums for achievements & good work done.

• Identifying new Capex requirements based on project needs. Convince superiors for the need for the new asset, calculate payback period. o Identify and shortlist new equipment's, support procurement team in purchase process.
