• In today's world, there are over 7000 languages and learning at least one will help you in life massively.
• Studies showed that learning different languages significantly delayed the onset of many brain related diseases such as Alzheimer and dementia, compared to those who can only speak their native tongue.
• Learning a new language gave me a greater global understanding of the world we live in. Even by learning a few phrases, never mind a whole language, you will access many fascinating cultures around the world and understand the differences between the two countries.
Dr. Kolawsky integrated me into the patients’ weight loss and wellness program to ensure I gained meaningful experience.
The learning experience was on hands-on approach. I was exposed to handling patients directly and accurately explaining to them what the weight loss and wellness program entailed.
I was fully trained in handling client professionally to ensure a meaningful relationship was established.
The knowledge gained in the applied biostatistics classes came as valuable while taking patients data. Furthermore, the knowledge gained helped in the patients data analysis and interpretation.
The human resources management skill in the healthcare field emerged as important upon the manager delegating me some duties to supervise some worker.
As a leader, I came up with initiatives to ensure the staff members remained highly motivated hence increasing the patients’ (customer) experience.
I learned the importance of employing a diverse workforce, I was the only person that understood Arabic; as a result I helped the fellow members of staff while handling an 20% of the customer base that is composed of Arabs.
As a result, I have learned to advocate for a healthy lifestyle to my close friends family and accomplices.
