Utilizing debugging tools like Phases, Checkpoints, and Watchers, I meticulously analyze existing Ab Initio processes and data flows to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative approaches aligned with business needs. Additionally, I provide invaluable support to the production team during migration events, conduct thorough issue analysis, and work collaboratively with Ab Initio designers to evaluate design changes and implement updates effectively. Anticipating and addressing potential challenges in data migration projects, I ensure timely resolutions to minimize any disruptions to project timelines. Furthermore, I've engineered automated service notification modules to keep clients informed about source file arrivals and ETL process completions via email, streamlining communication channels. My role also involves working closely with QA teams to verify compliance with required test cases before migrating code to subsequent environments. Through proactive monitoring of Control-Center jobs and meticulous job creation and scheduling, I ensure the seamless execution of data processes. Additionally, I gather requirements from business analysts for newly added data feeds and develop end-to-end data flows based on provided mapping documents, ensuring the smooth integration of new data sources into existing systems.
