- Setting up different departments determined by the scale of operations

- Handled last mile operations - picking, sorting, load balancing, Delivery schedules, dispatch management
- Handled first mile operations - inbound pickups schedules, client schedule management and communication
- Fleet management
- Process implementation and training
- Maintaining overall operations performance and reporting with action plans if KPIs did not meet
- Taking necessary measure in case of emergencies
Responsible for the operations side of the actual physical logistical and distribution part of the business. In charge of making sure that a busy operation of 30 drivers runs smoothly.
Duties:
•Last mile delivery management.
•Coordinating freight operations on a day to day basis.
•Maintaining regular contact with major client accounts.
•Managing a diverse transportation team.
•Negotiating with local, national and international freight forwarders and couriers.
•Managing a large and distributed work force.
•Participating in the recruitment and selection of staff.
•Defining & developing compliance strategies.
•Effectively managing vehicle and fleet resources to ensure deliveries reach customers on time.
•Providing technical direction and support to customers.
•Receiving and overseeing the unloading of goods.
