A result of a series of internal promotions, as the HR & Administration Manager reported to the Managing Director, with direct line responsibility for 3, collectively responsible for the HR function for the Company. The Company has 70 staff (inclusive of holding company (41), Real Estate (28) and Investments (1)). As the Head of HR, accountable for recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, Learning and Development, PRO activities and front of house in a very multi-cultural environment. Reviewed and responsible for HR Budgets - Learning and Development, manpower, PRO related activities and recruitment.
As the direct line Manager, responsible for all recruitment, appraisals, providing day to day and strategic guidance to the team. Manage HR Teams to deliver an effective HR service to the business, including recruitment, payroll, performance management, annual appraisals and developing individual personal development plans. Provide pragmatic senior operational HR support to senior management within the business in line with company policies and procedures, legislation and best practice.

Key achievements:

• Led the restructure of administrative procedures and costs leading to a saving of 28% - AED230, 000 p.a.
• Developed and implemented all HR policies for the Holding Company, including Recruitment, termination, resignations, employee onboarding and all other operational HR processes.
• Developed the Employee Handbook in line with international best practices.
• Led the implementation of HR system across the Company, resulting in efficiency in HR procedures.
• Prepared and monitored the effective management of the HR budget.
• Developed and implemented the Organisational HR strategy.
• Restructured and grew the HR department in line with Organisational growth.
o Developed an efficient Departmental chart, with key job descriptions
• Improved internal Organisational and employee communications through interdepartmental procedures.
• The custodian of the appraisal system developed new appraisal guidelines across the organisation, including a new scoring methodology and 360 feedback.
• Created a new and structured employee lifecycle system from onboarding to offboarding, resulting in lower staff attrition.
• Training & Development:
o Designed and delivered internal and external training programmes.
o Initiated the Fire and Safety drill and first aid training programmes in the Holding Company.
• Conceptualised, developed and implemented an Employee well-being programme - including initiating yoga classes.
• Saved AED200, 000 per annum, through the leading the strategic change to in-house recruitment.
