The work that i had been doing included were greeting and welcome the guest with smile and assist them to check in .after check in escorts the guest to their respective rooms .ensure claim checks of the guest luggage before transporting the luggage to and from the guest room or designated bell area.assist the guest to get in and out of vehicle including loading and unloading of the luggage .arranging transportation (taxi, cab, shuttle limo) to the guest and record advance transportation requested by the guest.deliver early morning newspaper to the guest room. communicate parking procedures to the guest.supply direction to the guest and provide map if requested .open the door and assist the guest entering and leaving the hotel.make aware of hotel fire and emergency procedures to the guest.maintain awareness of undesirable persons in to the hotel premises.inform to the guest of hotel amenities, services, facilities, hours of operations, local areas, points of interest and activities .explain room features to the guest (use of room keys, mini bar, ice, in room safe, valet, laundry ).assist individual with disabilities.welcome and acknowledge the presence of all guest. anticipate and address the guest service needs.deliver telephone or written messages, faxes, parcels, packages, to the guest room and run errands for the guest .ensure proper grooming and personal hygiene all the time as per hotel guidelines.assist hotel revenue by up selling of room and suites and suggestive selling of hotel restaurant .develop and maintain positive working working relationship with the colleagues .perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
