Experienced in Creating puppet Manifests and Modules
Performing RSpec tests on puppet modules.
Responsible for supporting Puppet configuration management tool.
Experience in advanced technologies and PDKs (Puppet Development Kit)
Working closely with other collateral developers to resolve customer issues and bugs found with custom PDK collateral.
Translated various infrastructure related shell scripts to puppet manifests and modules. Validated and tested manifests and modules using puppet parsers and loop and convert the modules for unit testing through PDK (Puppet Development Kit).
Job Description:
Handling Linux and windows for NYL (New York Life) client project.
Supporting and Working knowledge on applications like Varonis, Delphix, and
Monitoring all processes running on 80 Servers on BMC Remedy IT Service
Performing Weekly, Monthly Backups of servers using Symantec Net backup
Updating & Deploying Patches on Linux and windows servers for NYL (New
Handled Linux, Solaris, Windows, Database, Networking alerts from different
Working knowledge in DNS, DHCP, NFS, SAMBA
Taking care of Netback up’s
Working on BMC Monitoring tool.
Ability to deliver tasks
