Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assess students and refer to the emergency department or to the nearest
Clinic depending on the case.
•First aid as dressing, elastic bandage application, fixation in case of fracture, vital signs, documentation in students file.
•Administer and document medications as per Seha’s policy.
•Recognize emergency situations and call Ambulance.
•Health Education For students, Family and teachers depending on their age and needs.
•Vaccination depending on age of students and dose needed and documentation.
•Follow up with students with medical history known as a positive case as diabetics, Thalassemia, severe anemia, sickle cell, epilepsy.
•Check for height and weight and calculate the body mass index for all the students in all grades and document. Follow up students with over and /underweight.
•Check the visual acuity for all students in all grades and refer to ophthalmologist if needed, document.
•Send students to the clinic for annual screening and follow up (applicable for grades 1, 5 and 9).
