Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the HSE management strategies, systems, and procedures are current and embedded.
Advising Project team members, On deficiencies found.
Conducting /Participating SLT & UDPT.
Review and approve near miss reported tO client by contractor.
Reviewing, recording, and replying all contractor's closeout reports.
Review the risk assessment and method statement (RAMS).
Collating incident statistics.
Preparing Bi-weekly HSE Meeting MOM.
Providing in-house HSE training to WSP site personnel and contractor.
Checking If the traffic diversions are in accordance with TDP.
Conducting daily safety inspection of all work in assigned project.
Liaising with the contractor's safety personnel and construction team On deficiencies found during inspection, advising how to close Out.
Participating in monthly audit and conducting focuses inspections.
Preparing Safety violation reports.
Conducting CC and Sub- contractors Worker's accommodation and welfare monthly inspections
and preparing the report.
Conducting Project Site Medical facility monthly
audit and preparing the report.
Preparing SC’s Monthly Statistics Reports.
Maintaining SVR, CAR and NCR register.
Evaluating CC’s Monthly HSE KPI. Participating
and witnessing the Project Emergency Rescue Evacuation Drills.
Carrying Out any Other assignment given by the Snr Safety Engineer and SRE.
Undertake the role Of lead contact to senior management for advice and recommendations regarding Safety related issues.
Maintaining Daily Observation tracking matrix and preparing Trending Graph.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Advising concerned departments about the unsafe condition and unsafe acts and measure the necessity for the effective control of personal injury.
Participating in daily STARRT meeting and discussing HSE issues with workforce.
Implementing and monitoring safety aspects on both clients and company safety procedures.
Monitoring statutory compliance by carrying out regular inspection.
Maintains and implements the site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plan, firefighting plan, emergency evacuation plan.

Assisting MEP engineer in utility disconnection

Undertaking a weekly inspection and prepare a quantitative report to HSE Manager.
Monitoring toolbox/safety talks on a regular basis and ensure that they are being conducted in a professional and capable manner.
Ensuring all the demolition waste are segregating and disposing as per project environmental plan.
Delivering worker induction and ensuring that all workers receive an induction prior to start work.
Investigation of all Accidents, incident / Near misses / Spills / Fires to find the root Causes and recommends corrective actions.
Reporting senior management on any serious safety breaches that place workers in life threatening situation.
Conducting Emergency Evacuation Drill at Camp/Sites.
Developing procedures for high risk activities and briefing supervisors on their responsibilities under these procedures.
Ensuring all asbestos related activities survey, removal, storing and shifting are complying with SC regulations.
Prepares (PTW) Permit to Work for all activities.
Follow up on work permit systems and inspections, planning safety arrangements for Erection work.
Dealing with Project Security team in all site security issues.

OSHAS 18001 Regulations.

Ensuring that all personnel On Site are fully compliant with PPE rules as envisaged in HSE Plan, prior to the start Of work.
Assist in controlling the areas where critical tasks are being undertaken, e.g. Work at Height, Heavy lifts etc.
Scaffolding Inspection with scaffold inspectors.
Periodic Auditing/ Inspection of safety equipment/Tools /Electric machines etc. . . against validity /capacity / Proper Functionality.
Organize safety training and inspections with 3rd party.
Ensure/ monitor preplanning work activities for safety - COSHH assessment, Job Safety
Analysis, Risk assessment etc.
Ensuring that all possible hazard and risks are identified prior to start of any activities relating to a specific task and to ensure that these
risks are communicated to employees.
To verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures.
To update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary.
To check that Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE
applicable procedures, regulation and
standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and
regulations are observed.
To organize, plan and participate to
periodical HSE walk around, Inspections
and Audits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify the follow up
and the timely execution of the corrective action.
To organize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event, finalized to the
identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.
To conduct the day-by-day safety inspection at site and to identify the areas of hazard to be rectified.
To actively participate in the organization and coordination of the site emergency
response team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
