positions, 4, 400 m3, with the Co-Packing units. Wire-guided VNA environment
- Taken-over a new warehouse 10, 000 m2 designed for block storage & Pallet racking.
- Worked on designs of multiple warehouses from 2K to 19K M2 all-diverse product-mix of FMCG
to be stored under one roof. Food, Non-Food including ice cream. Selective, Double deep, and
VNA Racking, Mobile and Pallet shuttle racking.
- Launch of #besafe initiative
- Reorganized racking in the main warehouse 5, 000 m2 in cooperation with the Head of Supply
Chain & Shipping Business units. The project managed to take on a new 4, 200 m2 warehouse
where we designed the racking system to fit around the product mix with optimum utilization in

- During the pandemic converted a warehouse into a staff residency camp. 71 team members
during the lockdown.
- Managed Logistics for all brands including fashion, home furnishing, Cosmetics, F&B, and
Sports. liaised with a variety of internal and external parties, including suppliers, service
providers, manufacturers, ministries, various internal departments, and stores.
- Designed & implemented same-day customs clearance upon flight arrival for huge volumes,
arriving twice weekly, it reduced clearance time by 4 days and stores started to sell
merchandise on the weekends to gain more $
- Reduced OH cost in Freight & Customs clearance by identifying opportunities, optimizing
routes and vendors
- Prepared the department's annual budget and business plan and implement projects
accordingly.
- Ensured efficient communication on all levels with suppliers & Service providers.
- Planned and organized warehouse garage sales to liquidate obsolete stock.

- Provided overview of the brands lead-time by preparing quarterly performance review reports
(using business intelligence (BI) reporting using QlikView) communicating and presenting
results to senior executives. Significantly Reduced Lead-time & Overhead charges.
- Ensured availability of adequate Vehicles & personnel in-house or outsourced to run
operations smoothly.
- Managed projects with the project management team in terms of providing required material
on time for construction, storage, sorting, and delivery of material by project guidelines.

department and externally with forwarders, clearing agents, insurance brokers, and suppliers

of services. Prepared SPT 1800 scanners for daily shipment receiving or Inventories
- Identified and proposed improvements of procedures and reports in own area to support the
ongoing development of Logistics standards.
- Compared Logistics costs between forwarders & provided feedback to the Logistics Manager
to select the best service cost in alignment with the group’s corporate strategy.
- Prepared various stock reports for warehousing to identify dead stocks, take appropriate
actions, and clear the storage areas. Served as a key member in impacting projects;
- Merged various warehouses under one roof, saving 45% on rent & gained synergies.
