Key Duties
Project Manager for EPCC Project of QAFCO - CEMS where scope covers the below :
• Implementation of CEMS in full compliance with US EPA 40 CFR 75 for 6 sources & US EPA 40 CFR 60 for 15 sources as applicable,
• Integrated CEMS at 21 emission sources shall include all related accessories and subsystems necessary to meet the requirements of the US EPA applicable as specified by MME-Qatar.
• NOx, SOx, 02 and Emission Flow measurement at all 21 emission sources.
• NH3 measurement at A3 primary reformer, A3-G1.8, and A4 primary reformer stacks.
• Additional CO component analyser at Cogen-1 & Cogen-2 CEMS units.
• New CEMS units at 16 emission sources includes 4 time shared CEMS covering 9 sources.
• New nozzles for sampling ports, sampling probes, flow meter and all other instruments at all 21 stacks.
• New safe access platforms for sampling ports, sampling probes and all instruments installed at higher elevations of stack.
• Stack design modification as per the outcome of the design review and calculation of existing stacks (after modifying/ adding platforms).
• Cyber security compliance
• Centralized DAHS (in two parts, one in Q1 - Q4 site centralized location CCR-1 computer room and one in Q5-6 site centralized location at CCR-2 computer room In compliance with specified US EPA and MME requirements.
• Interface to respective DCS of concerned plant where emission source exists, includes applicable networking from field CEMS controllers till DCS
• Provision of interface to MME as per MME requirements for supplied CEMS
• GPS at two locations to synchronize the new DAHS system's time with GPS
Project Manager for UPS Load Transfer Project of QAFCO where scope covers the below : -
• Detailed site survey for identification of the works with respect to supply and installation requirements
• Transfer of outgoing feeders from existing DBs to new UPS DBs (Urea-1 & Ammonia- 1 UPS).
• Decommission the old Ammonia-1 & Urea-1 UPS system along with the battery banks and distribution boards.
Achievements: -
• Received appreciation and acknowledgement from End User for completing of activities ahead of shutdown schedules.
Achievements: -
• Established ISO procedures and methodologies leading to ISO certification.
• Enhanced the project team strength (4 to 15) and techno-commercial competency to cater to increased business requirements and built up the Instrumentation and Process Automation Project Execution Team.
• Achieved a growth of 2 times YOY in project operations. (50 MINR to 120MINR).
Responsibilities: -
• I was managing a Project & Service Team of 15 engineers, Project managers, Procurement Officers & Contract Managers.
• Responsible for Instrumentation Projects covering solutions of Pressure Transmitters, Flowmeters, Recorders, PID Controllers, Gas Analyzers for CEMS and Process Automation Solutions consisting of PLC, SCADA, VFD, DCS, IIOT.
• Business Processes Management and Profit /Loss management as the Project Business Head.
• Initiation and steering implementation of Key Business Processes and amendments.
• Steering the Sales Operation's objectives into overall operational planning.
• Customer Experience Management (Critical issues, Risk Management, Responsiveness and Delivery assurance).
• Quality Assurance and Control Institutionalizing across the functions
Project Sales management to achieve targeted sales volume.
Prepare annual budgets for Project Engineering business operations including operating expenses, capital activity, revenues, receivables, timely order entry, invoicing and monitoring the execution to ensure performance against plan.
Project Scheduling & reporting to customer.
Analysis of Risk and GAP for individual projects, reporting of projects with Internal Stakeholders (CFO, CEO and GM).
Guiding the front-end detailed design with engineering team & Drawing office.
Provide leadership and motivation to engineering team members, finance, production and supply chain to achieve project success.
Conducting FAT with Sub-contractors, EPC Contractors, Consultants, TPI’s & End Users.
Co-ordination, Negotiation and Contract Finalization with vendors and contractors.
Ensuring on time submission of engineering drawings, package deliverables and project to customer.
Resolving technical issues and guidance to engineers to provide a proper solution
Billing and Despatch Plan, Revenue recognition, maintaining proper cash flow as per project plan.
Identifying changes in scope of work and formalizing change requests and negotiating change orders.
Conducting Kick off meetings & techno-commercial presentations to Customers.

Conducting FAT with Sub-contractors, EPC Contractors, Consultants, TPI’s & End Users.
Co-ordination, Negotiation and Contract Finalization of all suppliers.
Ensuring on time submission of engineering drawings, package deliverable s and documents to customer
Approval of drawings and documents from Qatar Petroleum, Rasgas, QAFCO, Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations(ADCO), Consolidated Contractors SAL, Occidental, Danway, Aquatech, Energy technical Services, LNT, Dodsal, Port of Fujairah & NPCC.
Co-ordination with vendors and contractor for finalizing the technical specification and execution of work.
Establishment of site office.
Ensuring proper Cash Flow in the project.
Revenue recognition and cash Collection as per project plan.

Member of the project execution team for a public sector project of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited for energy saving scheme of tank truck loading for automating their entire loading system using PLCs, Drives, Scada Monitoring etc of all 34 stations in India. Responsibilities included procurement of bought out items, Site engineering, PLC Programming. Managing the whole project using Microsoft Project
Currently pursuing a General Management programme from one of the top Management Institutes ( IIM Ahmedabad). Expected to completed in Dec 2014.
