Responsibilities:
Installation of fiber optic cable (FOC) direct buried or into ducts or sub ducts for surveillance Camera.
Preparation of FOC for FAT and camera.
Preparation of FOC in Fiber Access Terminal (FAT) IN m/h OR H/H.
Termination and splicing at ODF, OTB, Camera and FAT.
Testing of FOC by OTDR and power meter.
Labeling of FOC at cabinets, ODF, OTB, and all cameras
Physical Surveys:
Physical Surveys of Cabinets and NAP locations.
Physical Survey of User End premises for Cable Route and Devices installation.
FTTH Installations:
Installing HONT at customer end.
Splicing at FAT and FDT.
Provide triple play service.
Planning:
Installation scheduling for FTTX weekly.
Cable Laying Route.
System and ODF installation.
Link Budget.
Patching & Exchange:
Patching for PON port to distribution cabinet from WDM to ODF.
Arranging of Patch cord in arranging panel of ODF and Tagging.
Basic knowledge about B-PON and G-PON LT Cards.
Splitter installation in Distribution Pop and Cabinet.
Field Supervision:
Installation of CPE devices.
Duct Lying.
Cable Pulling.
OFC cable Jointing, Splicing & Testing.
Operation & Maintenance:
Maintenance and installation of main cable joint enclosures including straight and branching(4-9, 7-22)
Maintenance and installation of main distribution cabinets.
Maintenance of OSP’s(POP, Common FDT, Common joints, Network Access Points, Patch cords, Pigtails &OFC Installation and splicing as per company SOP’s..
Testing Department:
Splicing Fusion Mechanical
PON Parameters calibration and testing (Using OTDR)
Point to Point link testing (Using OTDR)
Splitter and WDM installation and testing (Using power source meter)
Testing from Exchange end to Joints and Main Cabinets.
DARK fiber link testing, Reporting with Auto CAD Drawing (Editing If Necessary)
