Responsible for implementing the College of American Pathologists (CAP) quality standards in preparation for the CAP accreditation of the center’s labs

- Reviewed and updated all forms used in the OR

Organized and conducted several meetings with the hospital’s various departments to develop an action plan for
the OR in response to ARAMCO’s deficiencies report
Developed & updated policies and procedures according to ARAMCO’s requirements and recommendations
Prepared and presented a lecture on KPIs for the heads of the departments under Support Services
Participated in various committees (Total Quality Management, Patient Safety & Risk Management, Operating Room, Infection Control, Patient Complaints, Clinical Credentialing & Privileging, and Hospital Operations)
Implemented an evaluation of a pilot that enhanced patient surgical flow with the following achievements:
1) Implementation of LEAN methodology using current & future Value Stream Maps (VSM) for the patient surgical
flow, focusing on reducing non-value added steps
2) Conducted qualitative interviews with the OR team that underwent the pilot to assess its feasibility and success
