The College has an intake of B.Sc Nursing 60 students and M.Sc Nursing 15 students each year. The institution is affiliated to 1000-bedded Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and Chirayu Hospital and Medical College, Bhopal where the students are given hand-on clinical experience to practice the nursing skills and knowledge. Coordinate academic and clinical practice of students and assist in administration of the institution.
My job responsibility includes overall administration of institute, maintaining KPI, affiliation works and research.
To teach, guide and supervise students in the clinical area as well as to take classroom teachings. To maintain health records, conduct workshops, field visits, clinical teachings, etc of B.Sc Nursing students.
To provide complete holistic care to the clients, assist in procedures, handling of equipments like ventilators, pulse oximeter, cardiac monitor, etc., assist in conducting ward rounds, assist the ward incharge to carry out the daily routines, etc.
To provide holistic care to the clients in a warm and aesthetic environment. To assist physician in ward rounds, handling of ward equipments, assist ward incharge in carrying out daily routine as well as assist and conduct inservice education to the clients and staff nurses.
The course duration was of two years(2003-2005) which comprised of elective subject as medical-surgical nursing as well as subjects like education, psychology, statistics, research, guidance and counselling, etc. Adequate amount of clinical experience was also provided. As a partial fulfillment of the course, a research was conducted.
Worked as a Medical Transcriptionist and also trained as a Quality Analyst. Also a computer literate and can work on Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Studied all the nursing subjects with adequate clinical exposure. Conducted clinical teachings, provided bedside care to the clients, attended workshops, etc. I was the Student Nurses Association Vice -President for 1 year during the course and attended conferences and displayed models.
