Abu Dhabi Airport-Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) \[USD 5bn\]

AECOM the Construction Management Agency (CMA), is a joint venture with the Hill International provides management support for construction of the 750, 000m2 terminal building, as well as the required associated airside and landside infrastructure, a multi-storey car park, cargo building, catering building, maintenance complex and other supporting facilities at Abu Dhabi International Airport.


 Reviewed contractors baseline programme and established the project performance measurement baseline, scope, resources required to finish the project, cost and schedule.
 Demonstrated variance between the planned and actual performance and coordinated with the various package contractors to establish the mitigation measures, streamlined the schedules by reviewing and analysing the package contractors monthly, weekly reports.
 Accomplished the employer‘s goals and objectives and included all project and programme milestones and facilitated the project management team with a consistent tool for planning, executing and tracking technical, schedule, cost and risk activity by developing the Integrated Master Schedule.
 Eliminated or reduced the programme risks to an acceptable level, by developing mitigation strategies based on the critical path analysis and risk assessment.
 Established the performance against plans and identify opportunities and assisted the project management team in making fact-based decisions in real-time by developing the executive-level reports and dashboard presentations.
 Facilitated the project management team for making optimal decisions on potential changes and adjusting the remaining schedule more accurately by developing Time Impact Analysis (TIA) on schedule impacts for the employer initiated changes.

Khalifa Port & Industrial Zone (KPIZ) - \[USD 5bn\]

Bechtel the Program Management Consultant (PMC), support the ADPC in the development of the KPIZ with primary responsibility for the management and coordination of the master planning, design and construction of the port and associated infrastructure.

 Reviewed contractors baseline programme and established the project performance measurement baseline, scope, resources required to finish the project, cost and schedule.
 Worked with all stakeholders and senior leadership and developed the Integrated Master Schedule
 Analysed project performance against the master schedule, reported schedule status and variances against master schedule and implemented delay recovery actions.
 Reviewed the package contractors monthly, weekly reports and demonstrated variance between the planned and actual performance and deviation.
 Assisted in implementing Earned Value Management system (EVM) on the project and tracked the schedule performance, and provided project forecasts and status updates.
 Collaborated with the interface management team to identify the critical interfaces, streamlining communication, monitoring the interfaces and mitigated project risks.
 Provided recommendations on the bid proposal schedules and facilitated tender evaluation and award of contract

Major Accomplishments:
• Successfully implemented four 100day Sprint Plans which significantly improved the Programme completion and supported the on-time opening of Khalifa Port within budget constraints.

 Developed a detailed project execution plan per contract requirements and managed all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, and on-time delivery within budget constraints
 Established project reporting, reported schedule progress at weekly reviews and raised all areas of concern in timely and formulated workaround and corrective action plans where required
 Coordinated with cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitored action items and worked with the project manager to ensure resolution
 Developed Extension of Time claims and demonstrated by assessing the events that caused a delay to the project's critical path
