• Reports to the Senior Manager Designs.
• Lead electrical design team & manage drafting resources, prepare work schedule & milestones, Monitor and report progress.
• Prepare equipment sizing calculations and select appropriate equipment for system.
• Prepare/review concept and detailed designs for the electrical system and liaise with client for approval.
• Conduct power system studies and implement the results and recommendation in the system.
• Develop scope of work, technical specification for sub-contract jobs. Review and approve vendor documents/drawings.
• Develop engineering documents to support installation and commissioning activities. Interface site team and engineering team.

• Report to the AGM, Electrical department.
• Develop protection and control system for EHV substations and transmission lines.
• Prepare protection and control SLDs. Establish protection philosophy and prepare logic diagrams.
• Develop detailed circuits/schematics, bill of materials, cable schedules, terminal diagrams layout diagrams and fabrication drawings.
• Review switchyard layout & elevation drawings. Prepare control building layouts.
• Coordinate protection and control system with SCADA, telecommunication and ancillary systems.
• Conduct AC/DC load study and design auxiliary supply system.
• Conduct Protection coordination study and prepare relay settings. Execute CT/VT, Battery & UPS Sizing calculation.
• Prepare scope of work, technical specifications & method statement.
• Bid evaluation, vendor selection, tender support & effort estimation.
• Prepare work schedules & manage design & drafting resources.

• Report to Electrical Module Lead, USA.
• Design and develop various electrical systems for diesel electric locomotives.
• Prepare of bill of materials, wire/cable list for the production, planning and purchase department.
• Interface locomotive electrical systems with other main and subsystems.
• Standardize basic electrical systems of locomotives.
• Preparation of troubleshooting procedures and support service engineers.
• Provide technical support to Indian railways manufacturing facility at Varanasi.

• Report to Manager protection & Control panels
• Prepare technical bid documents for control and relay panels up to 400 kV.
• Conduct site surveys, system study &data collection.
• Produce BOM/Schematics, GA and connection list and cable schedule for customer approval and manufacturing.
• Prepare test plans, support manufacturing and testing. Address NCRs and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with sales/marketing team for tracking enquiries and order conversions.
• Technical discussion and negotiation with customers and vendors.
• Product promotion activities and seminars.
