Working as an Instrumentation Engineer in M/s HOT Engineering & Construction in Bulk Handling Facilities for production Chemicals (BHFPC). Major Project executed in Gas Compression Services for GC-16 & Gas Re-Injection at Minagish (GCP-GRIP), KOC West Kuwait.

Worked as an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in M/s L&T Kuwait Construction in Effluent Water Injection Phase-I & Seawater Injection Phase-II Project (EWSW), KOC North Kuwait.

Assist preparing /updating specification & datasheets
Instrumentation Dossier Preparation.
Assist in reviewing and commenting on vendor drawing /documentation
Assist in carrying out multi discipline checks and reviews
Providing inputs to design drafting personnel
Participation in Factory Acceptance Test activities
Yard/Offshore deputation, as required
Preparation of engineering documentation required for the Project
Assist in preparing C&E charts, Safe, philosophies etc

Assist in providing responses to the quires raised by Client /Purchase/QA /QC/Construction /Pre-commissioning & Commissioning group
Undergo activities like loop-checking, testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning of Fire & Gas systems & process instrumentation.
Assist in integration activities like PLC based SCADA system for Process instrumentation & F&G system.
Adopt the safest and fastest way of execution for completing the project before the date without affecting the quality.

 Study contract documents, drawings and specifications related to the job scope.
 Bids & Proposals that includes bid estimates, detailed execution plans related to Instrumentation areas.
 Interacting, discussions and meetings with client for various issues related to engineering scope variations/new proposals.
 Assist with procurement manager, project engineering manager, clients and sub-contractors to resolve issues related to engineering/construction/commissioning activities.
 Review and approval of engineering design basis for instrumentation scope, submitting to the client and getting approval for the same.
 Review of layout drawing (based on plan layout) showing location of all field instruments, junction boxes, cable/pipe routes from instrument room etc.
 Review of F&G, Cause & Effect matrix, safety logic drawings and preparation of pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures, Dossiers, Data sheets, Metod statement etc.
 Providing inputs to design drafting personnel.
 Bill of materials/MTO preparation & review.
 Procurement engineering that includes technical bid analysis (TBE), review of vendor drawings (VDR), Material Approval Request (MAR) preparation, inspection & Factory acceptance test.
 Design & Check consistency of control & Instrumentation systems in P&ID.
 Familiar with ISO 9000 quality procedures.
 Familiar with international standards such as ISA, IEC, API, BS, NFPA, IEEE, FM & ATEX standards.
 Review Data Sheets, Control Wiring Diagram, Hook-up Drawings, Cable Schedule, Device Index I/O List, Loop Drawings, Termination Drawings, Cause & Effect chart, P&ID and prepare Red Line Marked up in the drawings as per the site modification.
 Sent technical enquiry to Vendors, receive quotation from these vendors, check the Technical requirement against specification with vendor & finalize the Vendor for respective Equipment.
 Have contacted with Vendors for equipments like Electrical & Process Instruments, F&G Devices & their control Panel, DCS & Field Instruments from various Manufacturers.
 Evaluation & Approval of Technical Bid Evaluation of Vendors for Instruments, DCS, ESD, VTMS & F&G system.

 Resolving site queries, interfacing co-ordination with different sub-contractors.
 Erection & Installation of Inspection of Control systems like DCS/VTMS/ESD/SCADA/PLC/F&G/Flare Package/Inst. Plant air Compressor/Telecom systems & & RTU Panel/Solar panels in Well Heads.
 Installation & Inspection of Field Instruments.
 Cable laying & testing of both Instrument & F.O Cables.
 Calibration & Functionality checking of Field Instruments.
 Loop Checking, Pre-Commissioning and commissioning activities of Field Instruments & F&G Devices.
 Instrument support fabrication, Hook-up Pre-Commissioning and commissioning of Offshore Platforms & Onshore Installations.
 On-site completion activities, start-up and training services upon completion of construction.
 Involved in QA/QC inspection and coordination till Mechanical Completion of Systems.
 Assist in integration activities like PLC based SCADA, DCS, ESD, VTMS system for Process instrumentation & F&G system

The main project executed in PRP PHASE-III, BCP- B2 Hook Up & Commissioning at Bassein Offshore oil field of ONGC with M/s Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
