Non Destructive Testing of Materials
To manage the entire site operations covering surface preparation and application of coating for internal & external of static equipments & pipe line project and inspecting all the paint applications with all the necessary painting instruments, corrosion maintenance, welding activities & also
NDT-Inspection.
To attend client weekly progress meetings and appraise the work fronts required to carry out the job.
To supervise the job on day to day basis and progress, as per the delivery schedules, as per the contract.
To monitor the Q.C.P and the method statements and ensure strict implementation of quality standards as per the set parameters and conducting regular quality audits.
To organize the required tools and tackles and maintain the optimum re - order level stocks and deploy the required man power as when required to the site.
Responsible for monitoring all parameters during blasting and painting.
Training the new employees in blasting and spray painting techniques.
To monitor contracts taken by the company.
To raise the monthly running bills, for the work completed, and follow up with the accounts for payments.
Suggest the painters as well as the supervisors to maintain the required film thickness as well as the blasting profile and render technical services at sites.
To look after the safety as well as the H.S.E & P.P.E regulations for all the employees.
Worked as a PT Technician for various materials at different sites.
Having experience in inspection of welded pipes for surface defects using fluorescent and non-fluorescent Penetrant methods.
PT: Checking weld areas at Boiler Mill Side Walls, Vessels, Nozzles and various kinds of jobs.
Handled surface inspection by MPI methods of both wet and dry mediums.
Knowledge of Magnetic Particle Inspection using Yoke Technique (Battery and Power).
MPT: Checking of welds at Boiler Drum, Main Steak Lines, Vessels and Various kinds of jobs.
Lamination checking for plates and pipes.
Having sufficient knowledge in Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging.
Familiar with UT inspection of welds, pipes and various kinds of jobs.
Erosion and Corrosion Inspection of various pipes and vessels.
UT: Thickness checking for Boilers Furnace Walls and pipes.
Interpretation of various materials at different sizes.
Knowledge of Codes and Standards like ASME sections V.
Familiar with RT (X ray) inspection of welds, pipes and castings.
Working in External and Internal Machines.
BIT INSPECTION TECHNOLOGY, INDIA Certified ASNT LEVEL- II Inspector as per SNT – TC – 1(A) of ASNT in the following methods Ultrasonic Testing. Radiographic Testing. Dye Penetrant Testing. Magnetic Particle Testing.
