Position: System & Application Support Engineer.
Aiwagulf is one of the leading Telecom based organization; providing Telecom Service to more than 30 Telecom Operators in the MENA region. A Centralized-Data-Centerthat regionally provides all the services.
My Responsibilities
• Desktop and application support to more than 100 nodes.
• Installing softwares, Anti-viruses and applications.
• Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc)
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet.
• Troubleshooting of Network, operating systems, Applications.
• Supervising helpdesk staff.
• Providing Functional support (Application Support) to various departments.
• Monitoring VPN and other network and application based connectivity with remote servers.
• Setting up Emails on Workstations, Laptops and Hand-held devices.
