Copper Mines, Kagem Mining Limited, Grizzly Mining Limited, ZESCO, CEC,

Managed the comprehensive project lifecycle: client acquisition, technical
specification formulation, resource planning, execution, commissioning, and
after-sales support.
Oversaw projects with contract values reaching ZMW 12 million
(approximately USD 500, 000), demonstrating capacity for large-scale
infrastructure delivery.
Engineered, installed, and commissioned 45km of 33kV overhead power
line for Mulungwa Mine Ltd in Maamba, Southern Province, executing pole
erection, conductor stringing, and substation terminations in a remote
location, showcasing ability to operate in challenging logistical environments
akin to DRC mining sites.
Installed and commissioned 13km of 33kV overhead power line for Kagem
Mining, including transformer installations and protection coordination.
Executed electrical installations and generator commissioning for Cummins
Zambia across national sites, ranging from 15kVAto 2MVA, ensuring
compliance with Cummins global engineering standards.
Designed and commissioned conveyor belt weightometers (weighing
platforms) for emerald processing at Kagem and Grizzly Mining, integrating
PLC-based control systems.
Manufactured 380V ZESCO feeders and 550V Motor Control Center (MCC)
boards for mining and utility clients.
Serviced and repaired lathe machines, milling machines, and all industrial
power tools for manufacturing and mining clients, including motor rewinding
and control circuit troubleshooting.
Supervised all site safety, conducting daily risk assessments, toolbox talks,
and ensuring compliance with Zambian mining safety regulations and
international electrical codes.

Supervised all electrical works and managed the electrical workshop,
delegating tasks to a team of electricians and ensuring quality control.
Wired and commissioned a 25-ton grab crane circuit at Mopani Copper
Mines Mufulira Smelter, including PLC integration, limit switches, and motor
control systems.
Wired and retrofitted starter panels for motors ranging from 11kW to 120kW
(11kW, 15kW, 22kW, 37kW, 45kW, 90kW, 120kW) at Mopani Copper Mines
(Nkana Concentrator, Mindola, and Mufulira), employing DOL (Direct-On
Line) and star-delta configurations.
Manufactured 380V ZESCO feeders and 550V Motor Control Center (MCC)
boards, ensuring proper busbar sizing, protection coordination, and
compliance with specifications.
Installed and programmed Variable Speed Drives for conveyor systems and
process equipment.
Conducted insulation resistance tests (megger tests) on three-phase 90kW,
550V motors to verify winding integrity.
Installed and serviced capacitor-start, capacitor-run single-phase motor
starters for industrial applications.
Installed and commissioned PLCs and Variable Speed Drives for automated
processes.

Executed electrical works and tested electrical and instrumentation
products, including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and flow

Terminated motor cables at Fag Bank 3 and 4 substations, including cable
preparation, lug crimping, and connection to motor control centres.

70mm², and 185mm²) to multiple substations at Nkana and Mindola plants,
ensuring proper segregation and support.
Installed industrial lighting systems at Synchrinolium Plant (Wusakile Mine
Site) and various substations (South, 180, North, and Fag Bank) at Nkana
Mine Site, including high-bay and explosion-proof fittings.
Rewired distribution boards for offices at Synchrinolium Plant, ensuring
correct circuit identification and compliance with wiring regulations.
Wired control panels, secured cables in cable racks, and executed cable
joints using cold-shrink and heat-shrink technologies.
