•Suppliers follow up for undelivered goods based on LPOs or pending items via mail or other means of communication to get things ready on time,
•Focus on cost control while purchasing ensuring effective & quality Communication with all suppliers.
•Request of quotes, queries, & special orders from suppliers.
•Follow and complete the interaction and tasks given by Purchasing Manager.
•Assisting Purchasing officer in Researching potential vendors for alternative products.
•Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
•Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
•Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
•Review quality, quantity and price of purchased products.
•Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
•Update new vendor codes, price change sample received into the system.
•Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
•Receiving new samples from suppliers and sending comparison for respective departmental HOD.
•Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
•Periodically assisting to conduct market survey and give recommendations for improving the standards of materials, equipment’s, methods and services in cooperation with the heads of department.
