o Review and approve Contractor Quality Control and Quality Assurance Management Plan.
o Assesses the implementation of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Management Plan by Supervising daily construction activities including inspections and tests schedules, quality records, etc.
o Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports.
o Review and approve contractor's submittals (method statements, Corrective Actions, Materials Technical details, Inspections and Testing Plan…etc.).
o Issuing NCR and SIR for the construction activities/works.
o Periodically follow up on corrective actions to verify compliance.
o Conduct quality audit and review of procedures.
o Review and approve Sub-contractors and Suppliers for prequalification submitted by Contractor.
o Conduct inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and project’s specifications.
o Supervise, participate and direct sampling and testing of all materials according to the contract and the specifications.
o Analyze the test results in a timely manner and recommend action to both Contractor and Client.
o Maintain records of test results and all taken corrective actions.
o Ensure very close and clear coordination of activities with the other construction supervision staff.

Bawabat Makkah Company (BMC) is a limited liability Company, entirely owned by Makkah Municipality. BMC was established to manage the development of the 112 KM2 land located at the western region of Makkah City. BMC’s responsibilities are:
• Prepare a Master Plan and a structural plan for the land.
• Developed a Structural Plan for the different projects contained within BMC’s Master Plan.
• Build an Urban Development Code for the various projects that encompasses the highest urban standards worldwide.
• Implementing the main infrastructure elements at site, such as Roads network, Electricity stations and network, Water network and Sewage network.
• Establish Bossiness strategies to encourage partnership with the private sector. Captivate investors to participate in developing the land either by executing our potential projects or produce new ideas for new projects that can be included in BMC Master Plan.
My responsibilities as an Engineer in the Business Development and Project Technical Department managing the development and implementation of BMC’s various projects in addition to coordinate with potential investors to develop their ideas into possible initiatives which then turns into projects once passed the visibility study and confirming that they comply with BMC’s building code and structural master plan.
I worked for AECOM-Arabia on the Jeddah Stormwater Drainage Program (JSDP) as a Resident Engineer Assistant. The program was initiated after Jeddah flood crises of 2011. The program’s main scope was to protect the City of Jeddah from the danger of stormwater flood and to provide drainage system through the construction of Dams, Spillways, Rectangular & Trapezoidal Channels, Swales, Roads and Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts.
During the design phase, I worked as a Design Engineer and my responsibility was to conduct the preliminary studies needed to come up with the concept design followed by the preliminary design, logical sets of drawing, and specifications which led to the final design. I, also, participated in the design verification and review process before conducting the risk assessment and constructability review prior to construction.
I was transposed at the construction site following the start of the construction phase where I worked as a Resident Engineer Assistant and my responsibility was to review and approve the contractor’s shop drawing, reviewing and answering the contractor’s technical queries, finding engineering solutions to field issues related to design, reviewing and approving the red-line and as-built drawing, Keeping track of the Project record Book, reviewing and approving Contractor’s proposals.
I worked for Dallah Trans Arabia on the Automated Traffic Violations Administering & Monitoring Program
(SAHER) as project engineer. My duty was to supervise the construction works needed to install the program’s
apparatus at the traffic lights signals and along major roads and highways.
I worked for Kittelson and Associates on my graduation project during my senior year in college. The project’s scope was to provide an engineering solutions to the continuous traffic jam on the Beltline highway, an Oregon state highway serving as an outer quarter-loop in Eugene and Springfield (16 km long). We came up with 4 different solutions that involve changes in the interchange design, expansion of some parts the highway, and relocating of some access/exist ramps on the highway. Oregon State Department of Transportation approved one of our proposed solutions and started the construction work.
