Recruitment and staffing
✓ Designs, develops and maintains the recruitment process in the organization
✓ Plan for workforce: working with top management, plan for upcoming needs in the workforce.
✓ Develop job descriptions
✓ Prepare advertisements for vacant or new positions.
✓ Conduct interviews
✓ Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
✓ Performs reference and background checks for potential employees.
✓ Prepares and send offer packages.
✓ Designs, supervises & participates in providing the induction process for new hires
✓ Develops & completes probation assessment
✓ Conducts exit interviews
Employee relations
✓ Develop specific policies, procedures and practices in accordance with the HR strategy, organizational issues, employment law and current governmental legislation and best practices.
✓ Investigate and understand causes for staff absences.
✓ Provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary actions and grievances
✓ Works & coordinates with the Occupational Health Physician
Performance Management & Training
✓ Develop and implement a Performance Management system
✓ Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
✓ Identify training and development opportunities
✓ Organize internal & external staff training sessions, workshops and activities
Compensation & Benefits
✓ Participates in designing and implementing the Salary scale
✓ Supervises on monthly basis the payroll records: deductions, salary raise, new hires, etc
✓ Liaise with accounting department for monthly payroll generation.
✓ Provides payroll information to employees by answering questions and requests.
✓ Complies with the NSSF taxes and the Ministry of Finance taxes.
✓ Advise on salary increase requests and collaborates with the accounting department to forecast budget for salary increases
