• Interface regularly, and as needed, with General Practitioners, Nurses, Surgeons, and other medical professionals to provide advice on tests to use and interpretation of the results.
• Interpretation of laboratory tests, including chemistry, endocrinology, toxicology, and immunoassay, as well as dynamic endocrine tests, such as Andrenocoticotrophic hormone (ACTH) stimulation tests leading to correct interpretation and resolution of issues.
• Monitor internal quality control and external quality assessment activities leading to compliance to standard; assist troubleshooting of QC issues leading to solutions; involved in protocol development in preparation for ISO 15189 accreditation.
• Student-focused Medical Lecturer in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates.
• Conduct research and present scientific findings, participate in professional organizations to remain abreast of medical and professional innovative developments in pathology.
• Reviewer and an associate editor for the Malaysian Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences; published over 20 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.
