• Supervising, Guiding, consulting, and training in all accounting related tasks.
• Maintaining the accuracy of accounting records and ensuring compliance with Sri Lanka accounting standards.
• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Handling company audits and liaising with the auditors.
• Handling tax registration and submission of returns for VAT, PAYE, SVAT and income tax.
• Coordinating with the IRD department and responding to their inquiries.
• Corresponding with the BOI department for various purposes, including obtaining COC approval, submitting accounts, and providing other details.
• Coordinating with the bank regarding daily commitments and responding to their inquiries.
