• Overall supervision of finance department up to finalization not limited to receivable/payable management, cash flow management and liaison with bank and financial institution etc.
• Develop and maintain monthly accurate financial statements and management reports including segments and client wise profitability in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Makes and implements recommendations to improve standard accounting processes and procedures
• Statutory audit liaison/co-ordination with internal audit team, data extraction, provision and finalization, subsequent implementation of management letter if any
• Liaison with other departments and corporate staff to complete the opened projects and its financial implementations to close monthly financials
• Over see the daily operation of the finance department and allocation of cost to various projects/contracts is being done properly
• Managing cash flows and ensure that funds are utilized to various projects are as per the agreement and adherence to the company policy
• Timely analysis of various types of projects/contracts, identification of loss making jobs and conducting variance analysis of costs, to devlop business plan for the copmpany
• Approving quotation/proposal before submitting to the client and ensuring estimation of provision of cost & terms and condition is as per the company policy
• Posting transactions prepared by the junior staff in ERP system & supervise, direct and review the work of the accounting staff
• Generation of various accrued expenses and posting in the system ie, gratuity, leave salary, airfare of employees, DEWA & Telephone charge etc to close montly financials
• Alloting imprest cash to site engineers and other department as per the company policy and review of vouchers and posting transactions in the system at month end
• Staff ledger scrutiny, provisioning, payroll review, posting and disbursement of salary to the employees in compliance with UAE labor law ie, WPS
• Carrying out the review of invoice chain sequence and ensures all regular invoices have been prepared and delivered to the client on time
• Making scrutiny on various reconciliations prepared by the junior staffs ie, Bank reconciliation, suppliers reconciliation, invoice reconciliation, Inter company transactions etc.
