• Approval of method statement for the construction of per cast Prestressed beam, Slab for bridge deck. Prestressing system, transportation of pre cast items from factory to construction site etc.
• Leading the Construction supervision team of housing complex including 2.5 Km long inside sea Elevated road/bridge construction works.
2006 Aug2008 with United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Sri Lanka: - Senior QA/QC Engineer/Deputy Project Manger (2007 to 2009) at Construction Supervision of Permanent Steel Bridge Construction Project under Tsunami affected areas rebuilding project in Sri Lanka. Project Management & QC of 300m, 250m, 260m & 150m permanent steel bridge on RCC substructure with deep foundation, 5 km of approach road in Sri Lanka.
- Bridge Design Engineer (2006 to 2007) on the Permanent Steel Bridge Construction Project under Tsunami affected areas rebuilding project in Sri Lanka.
Main tasks: • Detail design of two 300 m, one 150 m and one 250 m and 260m permanent steel bridge on RCC substructure with deep foundation; and of 1 km long earth retaining wall.
• Preparation of specifications, tender documents, prequalification documents.
• Evaluations of prequalification & tender documents and final selection of Contractors for construction works.
- Feasibility Study and Detail Design of Muchak - Moghbazar Flyover, Bangladesh (2004 to 2005). Structural Engineer. Detail design of 6, 500 m long flyover (PC box and ‘I’ girder superstructure over RCC substructure with pile foundation).
- Bangladesh Municipality Development Project, Bangladesh (2004). Senior Design Engineer. Detail design of small scale road bridges, culverts, community centre, etc.
- Construction of Link Road from Baijid Bostami Road to Dhaka Trunk Road, implemented by Chittagong Development Authority (CDA), Bangladesh (2003). Bridge Engineer. Detail design of 550 m long rail overpass, PC ‘I’ Girder Bridge, box culverts, and 2.5 km long earth retaining wall.
- Construction of Link Road from Airport Road to Mirpur 12 Road, implemented by Dhaka Transportation Coordination Board (DTCB), Bangladesh (2003). Bridge Engineer. Detail design of 35 m PC ‘I’ Girder Bridge and box culverts.
- Design and Construction of 14-storey Training Academy cum Office Building for the Rural Electrification Board, Uttara, Bangladesh (2003). Senior Building Engineer. Detail structural design with safety against earthquake and construction supervision. The building’s design was conducted per local and British Standards.
- Bridge Replacement Project, implemented by Roads and Highway Department (RHD), Bangladesh (2002). Bridge Engineer. Preliminary and detail Design of PC ‘I’ girder bridges and box culverts.
- Teesta Bridge Project, implemented by Roads and Highway Department (RHD), Bangladesh (2002). Bridge Design Engineer. Preliminary and detail design of 750 m long PC box girder bridge with well foundation.
- Portable Steel Bridge Project, implemented by Local Government Engineering Department, Bangladesh (2001 to 2002). Bridge Engineer:
• Master plan study for the construction of portable steel bridges.
• Data collection and preparation of preliminary design and drawing of 1, 600 portable steel bridges from all over Bangladesh, Cost estimation etc.
- Design Review for the Office Building of the UK Department for International Development, Bangladesh (2001). Senior Design Engineer. Checking the building for adequacy of design and safety against earthquake. The job was to evaluate the existing building structures as per local and British Standards’ requirements. Detailed design of the retrofit schemes to bring the structure up to desired safety level.
- Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design for Beira Fishing Port, Mozambique (2001). Design Engineer. Preliminary design of 200 m×50 m jetty, office facility, cold storage and processing plant etc.
- Detail Design of Dhaka - Joydebpur Dual Gauge Project, Bangladesh Railway Department, Bangladesh (2000 to 2001). Bridge Engineer. Detain design and Construction supervision of 100 m steel Railway Bridge over Turag River at Tongi, 60 m steel Railway Bridge and 38 nos. RCC box culverts.
- Feasibility Study and Detail Design of Dohazari-Cox Bazar Project, Bangladesh Railway Department, Bangladesh (2000). Bridge Design Engineer. Foundation and structural Design of 200 m steel Railway Bridge over Sangu River, 320 m and 240 m steel Railway Bridge over Matamuhari River and 150 m steel Railway Bridge over Bakkhali River.
- Mopipi - Rakops Highway Project, Botswana (2000). Bridge Engineer. Design of 35 m PC ‘I’ Girder Bridge.
- Senior Engineer (2000). Design of 28 m and 26 m PC girder overpass (bridge) and 60 m PC ‘I’ girder bridge over Moheskhali River at Chittagong Port Bypass Road, Bangladesh.
- Third Road Improvement Project (Detail Design), Bangladesh (1999 to 2000). Bridge Engineer:
• Detail design and Construction supervision of 450 m PC bridges over Arialkhan River, 40 Nos. 120m, 75m, 60m, 30m & 20 m PC girder bridges and 100 Nos. Single/Double vent box culverts on Dhaka - Mawa - Bhanga - Bhatiapara - Mollahat Road, and Feni-Chittagong Road.
- Padma Bridge Feasibility Study Project, Bangladesh (1999). Bridge Engineer. Site selection and preliminary design of 6.8 km long PC box Girder Bridge, including foundation design by computer analysis.
- Flood Damage Rehabilitation Project, Bangladesh (1998 to 1999). Bridge Design Engineer. Design of 12 Nos. 35 m/25 m/20 m PC girder bridges and 25 single/double vent box culverts at different locations.
- Third Road Improvement Project (Feasibility Study), Bangladesh (1998). Bridge Engineer. Data collection and preliminary design for 40 m/35 m/30 m/25 m/20 m PC girder bridges, single/double vent box culverts.

• Damage Assessment and developed the remedial measure/ method statement for rehabilitation of partly damage of 40 Nos. RCC/Prestressed Concrete Bridge, 10 Nos. Steel (Bialy, Calendar Hamilton, Truss Bridge) and 100 Nos. of multi/single Vent Box Culvert.

-Third Karnaphuli Bridge Project, Bangladesh (2006). Quality Control/Bridge Engineer:
•Review of Bridge/Structural Designs and Construction supervision of 850 m long bridge
•Ensure the quality of concrete for foundation, substructure & super structure, verticality of 3m dia. steel casing for pile, pouring of pile concrete
•Conduct pilot pile load test, providing technical assistance to the Contractor, and reviewing construction drawings prepared by the Contractor
-Asian Development Bank Funded Road Network Improvement and Maintenance Project, Bangladesh (2006). Bridge Engineer:
•Detail design for rehabilitation, strengthening and new construction of total (bridge length varies from 20 m to 300 m) 1, 500m of road bridges. Preparing contract documents.
•Quality Control of construction works and providing technical guidance to ensure high quality construction
•Measurement and record the completed works. Processing the payments to the Contractor and assist in preparing progress reports

- Design Review of Ujar - Yevlack Road Project, implemented by Roadtranservice Department, Azerbaijan (2005). Bridge Design Engineer. Detail designs of 260 m long PC ‘I’ Girder Bridge and other 5 small bridges

- Design of 100 m balance cantilever bridge at Shariatpur, 85 m balance cantilever bridge at Patuakhali, 80 m balance cantilever bridge at Moulavibazar, 60 m balance cantilever bridge at Netrokona, and 96 m balance cantilever bridge at Nawabgonj.

- Cyclone Protection Project (1990 to 1991) in joint venture with KAMPSAX International A/S, BCEOM and Danish Hydraulic Institute. Project financed by EEC. Hydrological and hydraulic design, stability analysis, structural and foundation design for the following:
• 12-vent and 15-vent drainage regulator and 3 & 4 vent sluices for Polder 59/3b, 59/3c, 59/3b and 72 respectively.
- Khulna Coastal Embankment Rehabilitation Project (1988 to 1990) in joint venture with Chou Kaihatsu Corporation. Project financed by World Bank and ADB. Hydraulic design, stability analysis, structural and foundation design, cost estimation for the following:
• 22-vent Hamkura Regulator over Hamkura River at Polder 25. 5-vent, 4-vent and 2-vent drainage sluices for Polder 25, 27/1 and 27/2 respectively.
With Habib Construction Ltd, Bangladesh, Field Engineer on Dhaka New Supermarket, and Agargoan Link Road Construction Projects, Bangladesh. Responsible for the supervision and quality control of construction works.
