Instrumentation Engineer (Maintenance & Commissioning)

Development, implementation and review of all maintenance work procedures according to HSE, working environment requirements and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Loop Check for all instruments types.
Fire & Gas detectors loop tests, calibration and repair when required.
Start-up & troubleshooting of SOLAR gas turbine (3xGTG Taurus70, 2xGTC Mars90).
Read & interpret technical drawings and specifications (analyzing reviewing the plant schematics, P&IDs, Control drawing philosophy, Operation & Maintenance manuals … etc.)
Packages operation assistance when required (assistance in startup up of rotating equipment’s (GTG, GTC, Aircomprissor) and various packages (MRU, AGRU, PWT … etc.)).
Issue of Trips reports, and participate in enhancement implementation to avoid future break down.
Troubleshooting PLC software and hardware (Allen Bradley), making software and hardware changes and updating their documentation.
Perform preventive maintenance activities in a timely manner on ERP and routine daily inspections, including corrective maintenance of instruments, and maintain appropriate records.
Corrective and troubleshooting maintenance when needed.
Review vendor drawings, P&IDs and contractor documentation, safety issues, materials and create spare parts list in order to assign corrective, preventive and inspections plans to equipment in material processing facilities
Perform, Plan and Supervise Maintenance & troubleshooting for all instrumentation related equipment.
Preparation of failure reports (RCFA) and corrective action to improve the reliability, availability of the equipment.
Reviewing and monitoring of PM plans.
Work with vendor technical representatives to resolve equipment technical problems
Fine-tuning the Computerized Maintenance and Material Management System - CMMS
Provide recommendations on spare parts requirement, to secure the most reliable operation and economic level of maintenance
order spare parts purchase requests and respond to manufacturer’s requests for clarification
Excellent in SAP PM and MM modules and ERP
Familiar with various codes, standards and procedures like ISA, ISO, NFE, API, ASME, NACE, ASTM and others

- Supervise precom and commissioning activities performed by Samsung Engineering
(cable test, instrument test and calibration, loop test and functional test, OTP, performance test ....ect)

- Icaps update and punch list follow up and clearance
