system (Tracker Box, Radio Box and Area

Job Description:
• Performed testing of (500/220/132) KV switchyard equipment as per
standard verifications of CT'S, CVT's & interlocking circuits
• Loop testing and verification of interlocking schemes of circuit
breakers Isolators earth switches.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of Auto Transformers, Power
Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, CTs, CVTs & Surge
Arresters of 11/33KV Switchgear and 132/220/500kV substation.
• Electrical Inter-Locking Scheme verification among Circuit Breakers,
Isolators, OLTC & mechanical protections of Transformer and Earth
switches.
• Stability tests (Auto transformer, power transformer and bus bars).
• Preparing RCA reports by retrieving data stored in numerical relays,
fault recorders and event recorders after faults occur in the power
system.
• Troubleshooting of protection circuits, control circuits, monitoring
circuits and communication circuits.
• Earth resistivity and mesh integrity testing at site.
• Testing of : VCB & SF6 CB's (open, close timing & contact
resistance) & Transformers (IR, TTR, WR, C&DF, Open circuit, short
circuit, zero sequence, BDV, & Functions of (cooling fan and OLTC
L/R/A).
• Testing of Surge Arresters (DC Hi-POTT Test, Counter Test).
• Testing of DS/ES (Contact Resistance Test, Function, and alignment
assurance).
• Testing of CT's (Ratio test, Polarity, Megger test, WR, Knee point &
circuit verification).
