Duties & Responsibilities:--
• Preparation of the project documents, reports, letters and coordinating meetings etc…
• Preparing the drawings for the lighting, power, & ELV Systems
• Planning the installation & commissioning of the electrical installations projects as per the project requirements.
• Coordinating with the supervisors, foremans, contractors for the work to be done project requirements.
• Supervising the electrical works with proper safety & risk management methods.
• Executing the project by properly Coordinating with the MEP & CIVIL services.
Scrutiny and Review of tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
➢ Evaluating tender documents, drawing & schedules.
➢ Organize / take part in bid initiation & review Meeting.
➢ Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufactures.
➢ Co-ordination for preparation of bid including follow-up, collection of input from various subcontractor or 3rd party.
➢ Ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission.
➢ Co-ordinate & follow-up to ensuring post bid clarifications are addressed.
➢ Comparision studies based on suppliers Quotations.
➢ Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of products.
➢ Based on clients’ budgets constraints for a project, carting out Value engineering studies.
➢ Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to execution of project.
➢ Responsible for review/preparation of OME (Order of magnitude estimate) before onward
submission.
➢ Ensure that commercial submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details.
➢ Maintaining documentation, record keeping, Suppliers/Manufactures Data Bank records.
➢ Responsible to verify detailed MTOs (Quantity take-off) from tender documentation and
delegating Draftsmen for quality take offs, Cross checking quantities.
➢ Ensure the Estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with
good estimate practice.
