In NMC network maintenance Center, I am mainly responsible for fault management & Network Surveillance. Being NMC
Engineer my responsibilities are:
* Overall monitoring of BSS Network.
* Ensure and streamline escalation of faults/outages
* Monitoring 2G, 3G, and 4G internet bandwidth through PRTG
* Compilation of daily network reports
* Extract and analyze network KPI’s
* Ensure minimum Outage time in network
* Ensuring generation of Trouble Tickets and ongoing activities via Work orders
OMCR- Alcatel Lucent 1353-MP release v.B10 Evolium
* Monitoring and reporting of current Site Down.
* Configuration under particular BSCs changing/adding radio parameters of BTS sites to improve the service quality
according to the Radio Network Engineering Plan via OMCR.
* Generate Site down TTs and intimate concern Field Engineer.
* Diagnosis of hardware related problems of BSC.
* Report current Traffic statistics.
VAS-NetNumen, PRTGs & ZXUP
* Monitoring and escalation of SIU, IVAS, CRBTs, ISG / WAP Gateways, USSD) and follow up till restoration
* Monitoring of NWD PS Core Gi traffic (Transworld/PTCL) at PRTG
* Escalation/ intimation to concern team in case of outage and follow up till restoration
* Monitoring of VAS TTs & EOMS CSR monitoring dashboard and report to concern team
* IN/CAPS Utilization monitoring & escalation in case of outage & follow up till restoration
* Routine reports and escalations
ZXM10 and Net watcher (Fault Management System)
* Generating the Trouble Tickets for External Alarms.
* Coordinating with Field Engineers to support the PAT of new Sites
* Monitoring of External Alarms of MSC and BSC
* Co-ordination of Field Operation Engineers to enable daily operation & maintenance activities to ensure that all
related alarms are effectively cleared with minimum outages
* Compiling Nationwide Daily Outage analysis Report from all OMCRs.
OMCR- HUAWEI iManager M2000 V2 Operation and Maintenance
* Network Monitoring of BSS node alarms, links and other miscellaneous outages
* Alarm monitoring of BTS, BSC
* External Alarms Monitoring
* BTS configuration from OMCR end
* Best Level configuration of TRX, Sectors and Complete Site
* Maintaining daily reports and execution of work orders
