Founded in 1952, Arab Commercial Enterprises (ACE) today is the pioneer of Saudi
Insurance Industry. Since inception, ACE has rapidly grown to become the largest
indigenous insurance and reinsurance broking organization in the Middle East. With a
number of offices situated in various cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia complemented by
a network of offices in all the other Gulf Countries as well as in Lebanon and Greece, ACE is
better positioned to provide services to its clients where needed.
Responsibilities:
• Part of a team implementing Oracle R12 HRMS modules HR, Advance Benefits and
Payroll. Assisted in Business process mapping and prototyping, gap analysis, solution
design, HRMS setup, testing and user training.
• Setup all organizations, locations, elements, element links, costing, job titles,
payrolls, bank details, cost centers, worker’s compensation codes/rates, Global
Values, Application Utility Lookups, Security Profiles and reports within the Oracle
HRMS module for all applicable localizations, Setup HR related Descriptive Flex
Fields, Key Flex Fields, Validation Sets, Special Information Types, Security Profile
attachments, users, responsibilities, request sets and menus under the System
Administrator responsibility
• Set-up employee self-service to for updating employee personal data on-line.
Customized management self-service for viewing and updating multiple employee
status data. Did set-up for employee self-service for reviewing job descriptions and
applying on-line. Performed set-up on on-line position management for overseeing
the entire hiring process from posting to interviewing to hiring
• Set up career and succession management functionality including identifying
employee needs and training program enrollment. Set up Health, Safety, and Labor
Relations Management functionality including tracking labor relation issues,
incidents, accident investigation, compensation claims, and medical examinations.
• Involved in setup and implementation of Absence management with Accrual Plans
to define the Vacation package for the employees and Involved in definition of
Absence types, Accrual Plans.
• Customized Self Service Time Expenses responsibilities using the Time and Expense
Self Service Menu with menu exclusions, Mass Timecard Approval using the OTL
Self Service Approval Menu and Worklist Timecard Approval using the OTL Worklist
Timecard Approval menu
• Involved in defining Elements, Element sets, Assignment sets, Consolidation set,
Element links.
• Was involved in process of setting up Hiring Applicants and Terminating employees.
• Maintenance of Employee Information through Oracle Apps including Personal
Details, Educational Qualifications, Skill Profile, Work Experience and Joining Data.
• Worked on Conversions for Jobs, Extra Information Types, Personal Payment
Methods and Elements.
• Extensively involved in setting up Date tracking modes and termination process.
• Designed M50 documentation for payroll and HR conversions.
• Developed and configured several Fast formulas in Oracle Payroll.
• Interacted with users to resolve any issues during the production, development and
enhancement phases in both Technical and Functional aspects.
