Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design and develop CNC components, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems to enhance CNC machine performance.
• Develop automation solutions for CNC machines to improve efficiency and precision.
• Program and fine-tune CNC controllers, including PLCs and embedded systems for optimal performance
• Develop, test, and optimize G-code and M-code for specific machining operations.
• Implement and maintain motion control algorithms for precise movement of CNC axes.

Job Title: Automation Control Software Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop efficient, reliable and supportable software solutions for Ocados warehouse based material handling systems using existing Ocado PLC code libraries.
• Contribute new code to existing PLC libraries to provide new functionality / extend range applications.
• Update, modify and improve existing PLC library modules.
• Work with third party hardware suppliers and system integrators using both Ocado code libraries and third party supplied code.
• Contribute to the development of automatic software deployment tools to support Ocados worldwide warehouse development program.
• Contribute to the development of automated tests and simulation software to improve the speed and quality of software development.
• Work with project teams to review architecture and designs of 3rd party supplied systems.
• Attend design review meetings with third party suppliers.
• Work with internal and external electromechanical teams to commission and test PLC controlled mechanical handling equipment.
• Specify and carry out interface tests between PLCs and other Ocado software systems.
• Identify issues with PLC control and communication networks and work with the relevant teams to resolve.
• Assist electromechanical teams with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
• Liaise with engineering team to report issues or improvements to the control of the MHE.
• Generate MHE reliability reports for business testing team to allow handover of the equipment from project to engineering teams.
• Support factory and business acceptance testing.
• Review and analyze the performance of new and existing systems in test and production environments and make improvements.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities (Abu Dhabi International Airport)
• Responsible for preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance of the Neutron and X Ray Scanners.
• Ensuring regular preparation of Master Maintenance chart, scheduled inspection, checklists, history cards, spare parts lists, etc.
• Coordinates with the head office regarding spare parts & maintenance requirements.
• Ensures that repair work during machine breakdown is carried out in the least time possible.
• Troubleshooting PLC and WinCC systems installed on-site.
• Ensures that maintenance procedure are implemented properly.
• Follows safety rules and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
JAFZA Liebherr Plant and Silos Problem (Lintec, Liebherr and NFLG Plants): In Nov 2014, I was assigned to start the JAFZA Plant. We repaired, maintained and recommissioned the plant and handover the plant to the production department in the same month. After starting the JAFZA Plant, I installed silo radars i.e. VegaPlus 67 to find out the cement level in the silos and avoid overfilling and fix the filter loosening system. Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance of the batching plants in coordination with production department.
• Maintaining and managing the pneumatic system i.e. compressors, compressed air tanks, valves, pumps, cylinders etc.
• Responsible for making safe work procedures, safety training, workplace risk assessments etc.
• Ensures the timely calibration of batch plant equipment.
• Ensuring regular preparation of Master Maintenance chart, scheduled inspection, checklists, history cards, spare parts lists, lubrication schedules, etc.
• Coordinates with equipment manufacturers regarding spare parts & maintenance requirements.
• Ensures that repair work during plant breakdown is carried out in the least time possible.
• Ensures that maintenance procedure are implemented properly.
• Follows safety rules and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

I worked with various teams that design, implement and successfully completed various projects including Juice Plants, UPS, Transformer Winding Machines, Fillers, Conveyors Systems, automating manual and semi-manual machines and processes. Roles and Responsibilities
• Designing and writing PLC/HMI software (Siemens S7-PLCs).
• Responsible for arranging or making mechanical parts for the ongoing project and coordinating with the supplier or machinist.
• Responsible for making electronics circuits and control circuitry for the ongoing project using Proteus, Ares and OrCAD and coordinating with PCB manufacturer.
• Helping in the fabrication of Printed Circuit Boards (Prototyping).
• Checking and inspecting the PCBs.
• Developing firmware for the control circuitry and embedded systems using Keil, C language and VB.Net.
• Helping in combining all these parts i.e. mechanical, electronic and control, interfacing them with each other to complete the project successfully on time and within budget.
