Plan, execute, and finalize projects within triple constraints of delivering on time, within budget and scope objectives, including acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according
to plan.
Identify, effectively communicate, and resolve project issues and risks.
Develop risk mitigation plans. Effectively communicate project status to
project stakeholders.
Providing input to the preparation of the project implementation schedule,
in particular the field activities and associated interfaces.
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members, influencing them to take
positive action and accountability for assigned work.
Direct project portfolios ranging from $7.5M to $20M. Scope of responsibilities
includes execution, delivery, and completion of site activities through the resources/contractor designated in accordance with contract requirements and company (Qatargas, QatarEnergy, Shell, Q-Chem, RasGas) policies pertaining to EHS/compliance
Provides pre-comm/comm expertise, for planning and execution and leadership to deliver in accordance with project deliverables, specifications, and procedures.
Handpicked as preferred construction project manager for Amman Strategic Reserve Terminal for Petroleum Products (ASTPP) for the execution of the entire process piping network systems, Structure, and
Mechanical Equipment erection.
Responsible for complete project management activities within defined
schedule, cost & quality.
Develops, promotes, and ensures continuous improvement of safe work
practices and behaviors. Provides direct coaching to improve associate’s
safety behaviors resulting in an improved safety culture.
Developing project baselines, monitoring, and controlling of projects with
respect to cost, resource deployment, time overruns, and quality compliance
to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
Contracts Management - Variations, Claims and Extensions.
Directs the procurement of permanent and local materials required for the
proper completion of the work on schedule.
Daily interfaces and co-ordinates with subordinates, discipline engineers, QC
lead, and other office staff in the performance of all aspects of their work, beside liaises with client to ensure that commitments are met, schedules are maintained, and objectives are achieved.
Upon project completion. Responsible for technical proposal and tender process (bidder’s side).
I was engaged to the Khazzan project as a Project Manager responsible to the Industry manager. Indeed, my rolls and responsibilities were to coordinate the entire inspection activities related to the project in line with the budget and schedule. In addition, coordination with all stockholders at different phases of the project.
I was engaged to Infrastructure and Roads which was part of the Festival City Cairo project that its estimated value was U$ 350M. I was assigned a Project Site Agent responsible to the line/project manager where my rolls and responsibilities were to oversee the execution of the 35 Km of the underground various utilities which comprise the Irrigation, water supply and district cooling water networks. In addition, coordination with engineering and procurement at different phases of the project.
Qatranah Power Plant Project. Estimated Value is U$ 26M. I was assigned as Mech. Project Engineer responsible to the construction manager to oversee the Engineering coordination, procurement, and the construction of the various Fire Fighting and Detection Systems (Hydrant, Spray, Sprinkler, Foam, CO2, and Argonite) of the entire plant at the different phases of the project.
I was engaged to Habshan Gas Complex Expansion Project and Offshore Associated Gas Project as a Section Mechanical Engineer. Estimated Projects value is around U$ 480M and U$ 250M respectively. Responsibilities were -included but not limited-to oversee the scope of hydro-testing activity of all piping networking’s systems that is total of 4, 000 Test Packs which equivalent to 17, 500 Tons. Indeed, taking control of Test Pack center together with test packs movement and closure among all corresponded disciplines. Furthermore, Pre-commissioning activity was appended to my accountabilities for the OAG project, I was in charge of the internal cleaning activity of all new procees piping networking’s systems.
I was engaged as a Section Mechanical Engineer to the U$ 90M in value, an EPC project, Isomerisation and Refinery Revamp Project, to supervise the execution of the Underground functional networking piping erection in addition to all piping networking systems hydro testing activity that is 1, 870 Test Packs which equivalent to 3, 000 Tons, together with its Test Packs movement and closure among all corresponded disciplines. Moreover, I was part of the comm..support team for the start up of the plant.
C.C.C have being appointed to carry out Front End Construction of the 24 inch Crude Oil Pipeline from Mina Al-Fahal to Sohar including 12-block valve stations besides a launcher and receiver one each. The estimated pipeline length is 270 kilometers. I was engaged as a Section Mechanical Engineer to the same. Indeed, I was enrolled in all activities inclusive in mechanical division and activities on behalf of civil ones.
I was engaged as a Site Mechanical Engineer to the Oman India Fertilizer Plant Project (OIF) of a value of U$ 160M since C.C.C was engaged to construct this plant in order to complete and prepare the first stage as assigned by OMIFCO to other parties involved in this project. I was assigned to lead the execution / erection of the 1, 850 Tons of the Reinforced Tensile Resistance Pipes (RTRP) Underground / Above Ground functional networking piping erection in line with all other related activities.
I was engaged as a Junior Mech. Engineer to the 32” Fahoud-Sohar Gas Pipe-Line Project (FSP). The project estimated length is 301 Km and a value of U$ 120M.
