• Monitors daily output of our 3PL vendor (offsite) making sure that all express spares orders are packed and shipped on or before promised date to customer.
• Assists Logistics department preparing shipping documents to expedite shipping turn-around.
• Analyzes, documents and enhances processes to improve speed of shipping.
• Supports Lifecycle Services Manager with sales analysis, reporting and SOP planning.
• Creates new process to increase efficiency across the business
• implements and Lead the cycle count & annual count for parts & Quick ship
• Supports customer expediting requests
• Ensures adherence to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connections with all transactions and business practices.
Planning and sourcing of spare parts for valves with a monthly target of $500k - $1M. Provides customer delivery commitments. Responsible in the material and inventory planning process to meet customer requirements and at the same time achieve the desired Inventory Turn Over set. Involve in efficient procurement of materials, supplier management and timely delivery of the materials. Administer the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for effective planning and purchasing of materials. Involve in determining best supplier for price and lead time to achieve customer requirements. Monitor status of PO from time to time and sees to it that delivery schedule is met. Administer the issuance/releasing of spare parts for packing and shipping.
Proactively prepares freight-out as required by customer. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation. Screens all export transaction are in accordance w/ internal trade compliance and all other local laws.Manage customer consolidations
1. Handles all break-bulk importation.
2. Facilitates the preparation of customs documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc) up to coordination with Charterer / Suppliers / Shipping Lines / Freight forwarders / Agents to ensure timely delivery to our warehouse.
3. Monitors the whole supply chain of raw materials to avoid any dry-out and excessive inventories.
4. Gathers and analyzes data then generates a comparative cost analysis in order to reduce, if not fully eradicate further expenses incurred from port demurrage/detention, storage, transportation charges, etc.
5. Monitors and records daily inventory of the delivery and withdrawal of raw materials for an effective storage and inventory management.
6. Negotiates rates for various activities from different suppliers
7. Creates Purchase Orders (Pos).
8. Reconciles Purchase orders with the invoice of suppliers in times of discrepancy.
1. Controls and monitors the traffic of transshipment cargoes through effective planning.
2. Ensures that all shipments are properly discharged and/or loaded in the port.
3. Investigates claims and drafts a letter in reply to any claims based from the result of the investigation..
4. Replies to all inquiries regarding operational expenses, cargo tracking, connecting vessels, cargo status, etc.
