Liaise with Commercial Manager/Project Manager on all Commercial subjects in order to attain maximum profitability from the project.
Identify the events which help to acquire additional monies/time for the company and ensure contractual notices are submitted promptly.
Managing Sub-Contractors by maintaining the database, appropriate procurement with contract agreements, sending contractual correspondences/instruction, maintaining liability sheets, administer insurance/bonds, valuation, assessing variation, claims and final accounts.
Prompt preparation and finalization of interims, variation and claims with the Engineer.
Managing assigned subordinates/Quantity Surveyors related to Tendering procedures, Sub-Contracting, Delay Disruption Events, Variation and Claims.
Prepare cost report which demonstrates up-to date costs acquired in the project, undertakes Cost/Value Reconciliation (CVR), Cost to Complete (CTC) exercises and discuss commercial implications with the Commercial Manager/Project Manager.
Analyze that the number of resources (labour, plant and staff) and hours being worked within the tender/CTC allowances and review with the Commercial Manager/Project Manager.
Ensure the material requisitions are in-line with the company interests and the budget of the project.
Prepare Commercial reports for to include it in the bi-weekly site reports and attend bi-weekly and monthly site meetings.
Assisting for the preparation of cash flow thereby overseeing the expenditure and income of the project.
Identifying, assessing, monitoring and controlling the Commercial risks in the Project.
Verify/Prepare notification letters, detailed particulars for the Variations/claims with supporting documents such as client’s site instruction, request for information (RFI), revised material approval, contract drawings vs. issued for construction drawings & IFC vs. shop drawings.
Prepare monthly progress payment applications with the substantiation of Site Inspection, IFC Drawings & Material inspections at site.
Prepare/Verify progress payment certificates for the Sub contractors & Nominated Subcontractors.
Prepare sub contract agreements and negotiations with the Subcontractors & Nominated Subcontractors.
Administrating and scheduling the daily works/targets of Assistant Surveyors.
Preparing monthly commercial schedules.
Identify, assess and resolve financial and contractual risks for the project.
Attending weekly Commercial Department meetings at site with the Project Manager.
Preparation of Prolongation cost (EOT) claim by considering Site administration staff cost, site running cost, finance charges and head office overheads.
Preparation of Final Accounts by attaching final & taking over certificates, summary of accounts, approved contract, detailed final measurement of executed works with relevant drawings, insurances, and guarantees and approved variation orders.
Verification and justification of the budget adjustments request as and when received from the procurement manager, in coordination with the Project Commercial Manager/Project Manager.
Committed to HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative office.
Provide financial & commercial data to the Project Manager for preparing Project Manager’s Monthly Report.
Verify tender documents (Tender drawings, BOQ’s, invitation letter & other supporting documents) and make necessary queries to the clients.
Review and generate Bill of Quantities from the tender drawings to compare with the tender BOQ to identify material types, quantities, equipment list for the cost estimation.
Generate enquiries for the quotation from the suppliers to get the latest cost of the materials & equipments with project specification.
Estimate the total cost by considering material, labour, plant, overhead & profit for the final approval from estimation manager and sales manager.
After submitting the technical and commercial bid, catch the above projects through close follow up & negotiations with the client.
Material ordering and Labour allotment for the awarded projects as per the estimated value and coordinate with Procurement and Project department.
Preparation of monthly bill and collect the payment certificate from the client.
Verify/analyzing the overall project cost at the end of the project and discuss the feedbacks with the Estimation & Sales Manager.
Submit monthly sales progress schedule to the sales manager and verify the progress to achieve yearly sales target.
Major Design Projects.
Design of conceptual model and modeling of Pulsar motor bike light indicator by
using CATIA V5 modeling software.
Modeling the Ford car oil tank by using UNIGRAPHICS NX modeling software.
Simulate the car seat mechanism and analysis the various motion of the component by
using ADAM simulation software.
Modeling the wheel rim and meshed the model using HYPER MESH software. This is
then imported to ANSYS software and conducted structural, model, buckling and
thermal analysis.
