Planning and managing the entire project process from initiation through
implementation and completion.
Managing and coordinate resources of IT projects; these include HW installations or
upgrades, SW development projects, and more.
Define project scope, goals, risks and deliverables that support business goals in
collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a
timely and clear fashion.
Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to ensure successful
project completion.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts as and when they arise.
Identifying and implementing process improvements that reduce cycle times and
resource requirements for project/proposal development.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise
contingency plans.
Working closely with human resources and technical experts to ensure all
projects/tenders are completed on time and in a cost-efficient manner.
Managing the life cycle of bids and tenders to include drafting, revising, proofreading
and delivering under strict deadlines (RFPs, RFQs, …).
Main Projects: ADCB, MOH, SEHA, NYUAD*, ADCO, EMAL and Ferrari World.
* Managed DataCenter project of New York University Interim Campus; systems
implemented included IT, Networking, Audio-Video, Video Conferencing and Security.
Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise, in line with the strategic directions of the IT
department head.
Ensure the efficient and effective development and implementation of business
applications at PSUAD; manage all IT Software implementations and upgrades.
Ensure continuous improvement in customer support and maintenance.
Understand the key processes of the business and take necessary decisions to modify
and customize ERP and other software in alignment with business processes and
needs.
Manage IT projects to implement solutions, ensure user/customer service, and
maximize the team’s contribution to the business.
Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to ensure successful
project completion.
Develop schedules to ensure timely completion of IT projects within budget.
Work with external resources when needed to support company software needs.
Monitor, document and communicate statuses and risks related to projects.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise
contingency plans.
Lead a support team for Oracle Financials, Oracle HRMS, Banner Student
Information system and Banner Document Management.
Major IT implementations at PSUAD include: Banner Student Information System, Banner
Document Management, Oracle Calendar Switch project, Oracle Accounts Receivable
implementation, ManageEngine products, DELL Netvault backup solution.
