Through my DVM degree, I gained a comprehensive medical background in animal health, clinical practice, and preventive care. My training covered anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, surgery, and internal medicine, equipping me with the ability to diagnose, treat, and manage diverse medical conditions in companion and farm animals. I developed strong analytical and problem‑solving skills through case‑based learning and hands‑on clinical rotations, where I assisted in procedures, patient care, and client communication. The program emphasized professional responsibility, empathy, and teamwork, preparing me to work effectively in clinical and community health settings. Beyond clinical expertise, I learned the importance of One Health — understanding the interconnectedness of animal, human, and environmental health — which inspired my interest in public health and genomics. My degree also strengthened my communication skills, enabling me to explain complex medical information clearly to clients and colleagues.
