First American India is the Indian development wing of First American Inc. \[http://www.firstam.com/\], the leading title insurance organisation with HQ at USA. It is responsible for development, testing and maintenance of the applications and software across the organisation globally.

Roles and Responsibilities

•Research technical information and business needs to design, implement and test software solutions.
•Development of new web applications, tools.
•Enhancement and maintenance of existing products.
•Bug fixes in different environments.
•Automating business processes.
•Gathering requirements from business and creating custom solutions to their problems.
•Plan, design and co-ordinate production deployments.
•Develop data and process to optimize software architecture and improve performance of system.
•Providing customs solutions to title insurance industry.

Team size: 20

This is one of the core products of First American India. It deals with title order processing by collecting information from different interface partners and applies business logic to that data and present it to the user. It reduces the human effort involved in collecting and verifying data pertaining to a property.

This was an event where every member of our organisation can compete in finding bugs in a system. I was responsible for coordination between team members and the development and testing of the application. I also designed few of the bugs that went in. This project was in parallel to my main project i.e. EWB.
