Duties & Responsibilty

Examining high risk pregnancies- multiple pregnancies ( Twins, Triplets), Medical disorder complicating pregnancies like Thyroid, hypertensive, Diabetic, Thrombophilia cases. Antinatal follow up of previous cesarean and fibroid complicating pregnancies
Managing gynaecological cases like DUB, Fibroid Uterus, Insertion and removal of IUCD including mirena. Diagnosing and managing CIN changes of cervix and conducting out patient colposcopy.
b) Performed obstetric and gynaecological ultrasonograms
c) Manage various OB/GYN cases in Emergency Department in 24hr rotation.
d) Ward duties involving monitoring of antenatal, postnatal, post operative cases, induction of labour, managing obstetric emergencies. Managed various medical complications in pregnancies and high risk pregnancies.
e) Monitoring patients in active phase of labor with CTG and repeated vaginal examination
f) Early diagnosis of dysfunctional labor. insertion of fetal scalp electrode.
g) Labour ward duties including monitoring of high risk pregnancies, trial of labour after caesarean sections, instrumental deliveries including vacuum and forceps deliveries.
h) Normal deliveries. Detecting intrapartum complications like retained placenta, hematomas.
