Currently, as member of team, I am takeing part in RBWS (risk based work schedule) system implementation which is in progress. System is based on risk asseement and afterwards planning prioritizing and scheduling of maintenance activities. As a planner&scheduler my duties are to; specify the job and details, break down the job into activities, estimate the cost of the job, allocate resources, define material and tool needs, call for offers from subcontractors, select one, define costs of activities and schedule job.



In that period my position was Chief technology manager for CAPEX projects conducting (both tecnicaly and commercialy ways), according PED 97/23/EC, ASME Code Biler and Pressure Vessel Code, NACE MR0175 and NACE MR0103, under TÜV Croatia notified body.


In the beginning, I have been working in department of rotary equipment maintenance, of "INA" (lubricants and oil production facility) refinery in Rijeka (Croatia), for 4 years. It was quite dynamic job and it is consists of corresponding with domestic and foreign suppliers such as "KSB", "Flexibox", "Chesterton", "
Afterwards my job was in maintenance dpt. of INA refinery in Rijeka, as mentioned before, chief of mechanical workshop.
It is consists of;
- making plans of general (annual) turnarounds of facilities,
- corresponding with domestic and foreign suppliers,
- failure diagnostics, managing and ordering spare parts, tools and other equipment,
- leading mechanical workshop staff in performing general and current repairs of refinery facilities,
- co-operating with warehouses and up to dating files of equipment.
- Purchaseing of new tools and equipment for workshop,
- Remuneration of accomplished jobs
Workshops crew are consists of mechanics, welders, transportation& scaffold workers, lathes, drills, milling staff, chief of toolroom etc. (circa 45 workers)
